Van helsing has taken on the count but I still think Loomis could kick his ass.

Hmmm. Are we talking pre or post Halloween 2? My money's on Van Helsing. Vanny would fake Loomis out with a right and then paste him with a left to his bad side.

Im talking about Loomis in his prime. Not burnt up and limping. Though he could still probably beat helsing down with his cane.

Van Helsing would get murdered by Loomis. So Van Helsing took out Dracula, big deal.

He survived one movie. How many did Loomis survive? He got blown up, and still came back to whoop ass. That is one man who can take a licking and keep on ticking.

If were talikng Donald P. and his Loomis, he could kick Van Helsings "whats my foreign accent" ass.
Then hit the buffet.

But if it was Chris Plummer who was Van Helsing, or an overacting Tony Hopkins, or badly scripted Lawrence Olivier, then Loomis would be faced with out chewing the scenery.

Dr. Loomis of course, haven't you seen him on Halloween 2, he tried to sacrifice himself, but that didn't work.

Edward Van Slone, Anthony Hopkins, Christopher Plummer, Laurence Olivie(spelling???), hell even Bruce Campbell as Van Helsing's would get there asses kicked by Loomis. But the true Van Helsing, Peter Cushing would be the last man standing. He is much more athletic and cunning then Loomis and would outsmart and defeat him in the end.

Just a lil' tidbit - Peter Cushing was orignally offered the role of Sam Loomis in Halloween, but turned it down. I would how different Halloween would have been with Cushing instead of Donald Pleasence. Thats not to take away for the great Donald Pleasence, he is and always will be the driving force behind the Halloween films, and when he passed away it was truly the end of an era.
