Dawn of the Dead vs Return of the living dead

Both of these are Major classics that i hold on my top ten Horror list.Which is better?

Dawn Of the dead 10/10
Return of the living dead 9.5/10

Both are great films, but I slightly prefer Dawn. That could change though..

I love both, but I found Return to be a little more creative than Dawn.

Both are great, but I love Return somewhat more. I remember seeing it when I was younger and loving it, and seeing it today it one of the funniest horror comedy's I've ever seen. I love most of the characters and how they react to everything, I love the extream chesseiness of it all. I love the dark, low budget atmosphere. It's such a great movie in my opinion.

Dawn is a much better horror.

But I LOVE Return for the same reason as someone else said. It's SOOOO funny! The two guys that opened the canister in the beginning and scream like girls all through it are great!

I think RETURN did a new thing for the Zombie genre,but nothing beats all the Head shots,Decapitations, & Flesh eating, that made Dawn the classic it is today.Both movies have an even amount of Black comedy.

I think Return of the Living Dead is great fun but Dawn of the Dead holds up more.

I don't know I love them both but for different reasons

I love Dawn for the dark humor, great gore, and setting

I love Return for the dark humor, Linnea Quigley, and the two goofy dudes who work in the warehouse
