Do you think they should make a movie of "The Mighty 8th"

I love war movies and action movies.But something crossed my mind, Why don't hollywood make a movie of "The Mighty 8th!"!?The Memphis Bellen was an ok movie,but I like to see The Mighty 8th directed by Michael Bay(who directed Pearl Harbor)direct this movie!I loved Pearl Harbor!Plus one of my great uncles' flew a B-17 Flying Fortress for the mighty 8th and would love to see a movie about it.What do you think?
