A tie between Jesse (Mark Patton) in A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET 2: FREDDY'S REVENGE, and the title character in George A. Romero's loathsome cult hit MARTIN (played by John Amplas).

You're totally right, STEVE...Nancy in ANOES lacked the proper emotion(s) that one must possess when the "best friend" character bites the bullet! Even my Dad commented on Heather Langenkamp's sincerity void back in 1985!

yeah ANTONIO,after that reaction i didn't like her character. or during the scene when shes in class and wakes up screaming, if you look closely you can see she almost laughs! i was like "get serious! you just burned yourself!" and i know her mom was a drunken slut(my opinion) but nancy was always mean to her (bathroom scene "oh for pete's sake!")

i would also like to add....

in ALICE,SWEET ALICE(spoilers) alice didn't seem to care about anything. when her sister died she didn't seem to upset about it, which caused suspision

in IKWYDLS barry didn't care either. i mean he chases and beats down an old defenceless man who he thinks is a killer, but then he relises he made a mistake and doesn't even appolgize to him.PRICK

In TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE 3, The lead character girl and her friend are running away from leatherface and then her friend got his foot caught in a bear trap thing. Then she saw leatherface coming and she ran of without him!

I didn't really care for the babes we were supposed to root for in Valentine, except maybe Jessica Capshaw.

Loomis in Halloween 5.

He certainly gave Jamie some grief when he was trying to find out where Myers was.

He was screaming at her! Doesn't he know she can't talk?

LOL...

Lead bum from STREET TRASH. The most uninteresting character I have seen in low budget films.

Well LOOMIS, was obsessed with Michael so he would do anything to catch him. I dont think he wouldve let her die but he just wanted Michael to come to his trap.

The entire cast of The Blair Witch Project-The last time I saw so many boring, unlikable people together at the same place at the same time was at my 5 year high school reunion! I felt nothing for any of them, and was glad when they got killed (or whatever happened to them).

That main chick from Soul Survivors. She was clueless and couldn't act. Why the hell wasn't Eliza Dushku cast in the lead for this film? The star was ugly as hell too, she looked like she had been smacked in the face with a bag of hot pennies!

Without a doubt, the character of Mike Logan from Cannibal Ferox. This guy goes through some really ungodly shit, but he deserves every little bit of it.

SPOILERS

Add the ghetto-blastin' Freddy (Busta Rhymes) from HALLOWEEN: RESURRECTION to the top of the shit heap. I'm disgusted that this unlikable character survived, while the film's true hero (Sean Patrick Thomas as Rudy) bought the farm the same way that Bob did in Part 1.

DAN CAIN from The Re-Animator
He was a simpering idiot in both movies, with him being in bed more than the lab.

West did all the thinking.

Caleb in NEAR DARK- Kick ass movie, but I wanted him to die just for being a hick. He practically begged to get bitten with his libido and car keys.
Never mess with Lance and THE PAX. Or co-star with them, they end up outsaging you. Besides, I wanted Caleb to die so badly.

I hated Natalie Simon (Alicia Witt) in URBAN LEGEND. I could never feel for her since she was so stupid.

Franklin from Texas Chainsaw Massacre, I couldn't wait for him to get offed, stop the incessant whining! In an interesting side note, when Tobe Hooper and others did commentary on the movie they said the actor that played Franklin was hated off screen by the cast as well. I guess he carried his real life personality on screen as well.

Almost all the characters from the Firday the 13th series with Alice in the first one being the only one worthy of sympathy.

Rennie from JASON TAKES MANHATTAN. She had as much emotion as a brick. It seems like she wasn't even trying to act! Good thing there were plenty of characters for JASON to dispose of to keep things interesting. Well thats all for now GOoD JOURNEY my fellow schmoes.

I'd also like to add the characters played by: Jared Leto and Alicia Witt in URBAN LEGEND; and David Boreanaz and Marley Shelton in VALENTINE.
