Without a doubt, the best drilling occurs in The Gates of Hell. Usually, the camera will jerk away in these situations, but Fulci doesn't show restraint. The sequence is slow and excruciating.

I agree. This was very excruciating to watch. Fulci at his best.

The numerous drill kills in DRILLER KILLER. The best being the guy crucified and then drilled to death.

Why do drill and chainsaw kills get called sooooo violent.it isent anymore violet than a knife impalment.I loved Gloria Revelle's death in Body Double,everyone calls this violent wich it is but not at all gorey,it's great cause its left to the imagination.Also,Paige Presscott's death in Valentine is just too brutal.I would hate to be in that situation.I hate to be forced under water cause im fixin to get drilled.I would personally have just gotton drilled,it's faster.

The "No brain, no pain" scene. But if my memory serves me correctly, he tried to kill that guy with the drill but wasnt successful.
