Who do you people think would have made the best director for Freddy vs Jason. What about M. Night Shyamalan. I know he wouldn't have done it, but he could have done an awesome job. Who's your pick??

Wes Craven, but I trust Ronny Yu. He's fully capable of doing this project justice.

I agree,I think Jackson would'ev done a awsome job.But if you wanted the worlds greatest director,you should'ev gotten......me.jk,or else you could'ev gotten The Arrow to do it.

I had no idea there was a director tied to this yet.. I guess its finally coming along!

I don't know; a commercialized movie like Freddy Vs. Jason is bound to be just doesn't seem to be something Dario would be vaguely interested in. Judging from his past movies, he likes more of the "guy next door" type killer (if the guy next door wears black leather gloves, anyway).

Could you imagine the catchy title "John Carpenter's Freddy vs Jason", or even "Wes Craven's Freddy vs Jason", but I would prefer to see what Carpenter could do with the 2 horror legends!

Shyamalan would have made the best F v J movie ever, we would have found out the true origins of the two villains, but that's wishful thinking because he's too cool to do it.

Wes Craven and Sean Cunningham. The grandaddies who started both franchises. They would know how to project their respective characters with the attitude they deserve. Well thats all for now GOoD JOURNEY my fellow schmoes.

My original idea was to have Craven and Cunningham both direct their own version of the film, only Craven's film would need to have Jason win and Cunningham's would have Freddy win.

Seeing how each director kills off his star character with his main rival would be interesting.

M. Night Shyamalan my fav director but his style just aint right for a movie like this! I would like to see good old master of action John Woo! damn! a Freddy and Jason fight scene directed by John Woo would kick ass............

For this type of project, Wes Craven would've rocked the house. But I think in Ronny Yu's capable hands this movie will be good.
