I'm looking forward to this one. It's De Niro back to doing serious stuff. Not that I didn't enjoy his lighter stuff, of course. It also stars Frances McDormand and a very promising young actor, James Franco. Michael Caton-Jones, who gave us the much under-appreciated THIS BOY'S LIFE), directs. eliza dushku is in it and from what i understand she's not a slut! i must see this!

She was on Leno last night promoting THE NEW GUY. She looked fine. A far cry from when I first saw her in THIS BOY'S LIFE.

I think this film will be great. Robert DeNiro is a good actor and I thought he was hilarious in SHOWTIME, but am glad he is getting back to serious dramas. James Franco is a cool actor and he is going to be a big star after this and SPIDER-MAN. I will surely see this.

yeah this doesnt look too bad....dushku is in it so i cant go wrong their,and franco isnt too bad,and deniro of course is a class act.

Bump. I don't think Dushku has a big role in this. She plays Franco's girlfriend and they have a kid or something.

I so want to see this movie. De Niro fits this type of role perfectly and I like Dushku.

I get the feeling that there are a lot of closet SWIMFANs out there. Otherwise, I predict an easy b.o. and critical win for CITY.

if that is the case,i think City By The Sea will blow swimfan out...in my opinion city by the sea looks like an above average thriller,while swimfan looks really horrible and lame.

Will be interviewing all the stars (minus that slippery bastard De Niro) round the end of August. Can't wait to see what Dushku looks like in person. GROWL....
