A near perfect experience aptly helmed by Jim Jaramusch. Its the dialogue as much as the visuals that entertain here.

Deliberately paced, inventively shot, clever script and a killer soundtrack al make thsi a memorable cinematic moment. Worthy of self reflection after viewing there are words to live by in here.

A well constructed charecter study that allows for some great visuals and amusing real life giggles..........Highly recommended

Jim Jarmurch can do no wrong. I now Joblo isn't the biggest fan of his work but I must say i adore the guy. Down by Law, Mystery train, Night on earth, Stranger than paradise, Ghost Dog, and Dead Man are some of my favourite movies of all time. Nooone catches life on camera quite like jamursch.

Ghost dog itself is a minor masteripiece in film making. Forest whitaker is perfect as Ghost Dog one man trying to stay grounded with a little help from the ancient samurai code. The lengths he would go to stick to it is what makes the movie fun times. This movie has it all action, comedy, and an intelligent script. Whats also great is how ghost dog is not the only fleshed out character in this film. All the mob members are portrayed with style and I could totally feel for their situation as their little tower of power was crumbling down. All in all this is a most triumphant movie:
