Lara Croft and the Cradle of Life ?

I just read about the breakup of Jolie and Thornton and saw something in the article about a Lara Croft sequel in the works: Lara Croft and the Cradle of Life. This is the first I've heard of it. Any thoughts?

Wasn't there talk about Brooke Burke taking over the Laura Croft role in future movies?

Why in the blue hell do that have to call it Lara Croft and the Cradle of Life? Can't they just call it Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life?

Strider, they call it LARA CROFT AND THE CRADLE OF LIFE to make it sound like an Indiana Jones movie, à la INDIANA JONES AND THE TEMPLE OF DOOM or INDIANA JONES AND THE LAST CRUSADE. You have to remember that in the very beginning Lara was an hommage to Indy.

I've heard about the sequel, and I know Jan de Bont is directing it. They say they'll be several under-water and swimming scenes. Personally I'm happy that Angelina Jolie is coming back, because she's a great Lara Croft and the only good thing in the first TOMB RAIDER movie. But the rest of the movie (director, story, title) kind of turns me off, though.

You mean the hostess of Dog Eat Dog?! I can't picture her as Lara at all. Can she do a English accent? And would she be willing to change her hair color? The top dog for "Lara Croft" has been and always shall be Angelina Jolie. Everyone else is in the dog-pound.

It'll probably be the same as the first one, a really really really bad movie with the only redeeming quality being Angelina Jolie looking really good.

That was back when there were rumors that Angelina wouldn't be coming back, but they turned out to be untrue.

brooke burke is a super model that does shows like "wild on E" on the E channel. she's really good looking, but has kids and a husband.
