oh,like the first one was any good?I saw it opening day and i thought it was horrible and knew it would make much money and be horribly hyped up and overrated with too much money to handle...which of course is true seeing as a sequel is being made. The only good thing that came out of this was seeing Vin Diesel get a bigger name for himself,i like diesel alot...but it looks like with xXx he could go either way...he always manages to pick horrible or just average movies to me,but brings out the best in them.

i hate any who likes this film, this is the worst filme ever made. The fact that any one can like it disapoints me. This is in fact the worst film ever made. I give in negative infinaty stars out of 5. Anyone who owns it should burn it and piss on the ashes. You can also join me in the national boycott of fast and furious 2. Ill will be holding signs outside the theater. If you like this movie, you are a movie poser. people that only enjoy popcorn movies and teen comedy crap.

Fast and the furious is a horrendously retarded "popcorn flick" that was made for people who love bad acting, and neato cars!
First of all everyone in this damn movie is in love with their own coolness, and show it to excess in EVERY SCENE. I swear to fucking Christ, it was like Vin Diesel and uh...the other guy, where battling for the cool crown at every moment. The only problem is that anyone with intellect can see right through Vin Diesel's "cool" layer to realize the man cannot act. He's a dumbass with a big nose a bald head and some nifty one-liners. He is a fucking cock, and if I ever saw him I'd tell the piece of shit exactly that. Fast and the furious is up there with Charlie's Angels for the most ridiculously stupid and terrible pieces of cinema I've seen. Every time I see it in the racks, I spit on the copies. (Note; I only give pearl Harbor a nasty look.) Fast and the Furious boggles the mind! IT IS SO BAD I GOT A HEAVY MIGRANE WATCHING IT!
I HATE IT! I'm using the word hate here, for a movie. And what? They're making a sequel!? As if I should be surprised. Hollywood is run by business men, not film makers. But what the fuck is this thing going to be about!? Why are they racing again?! For fuck sake, blow up the cars before they can get in and make another horrible movie! Then again there's always xXx. ...ohhhhh, my head.

I don't like this movie. I meant to write, "I hope it is better than the first".

Hey it entertained me for 90 minutes or so, hell it is over rated and glorified crap but it was alright, definately not the worst movie ever.
The sequel doesn't really rock my boat though.

Fast and the Furious was a great movie in my mind. It took me several viewings to realize this but now I have come to that conclusion. I feel Vin Diesel is going to be a great action star in the future.
Now, onto the sequel. This is a bad idea! First off, there is no Vin. My apologies to Paul Walker but he can not carry a movie on his own. Second, I don't think Tyrese is a good casting choice either. Third, the plot is horrendous. Maybe someone else from the first like Jordana Brewster will star to help out the movie but I don't think it has a chance. This is one movie I am definately not anticipating...

I hardly think anyone should HATE someone becuase they like this movie.
This movie was obviously made for people who love the import fast cars, racing and other things around that area.
I'm not saying I liked this movie but I didn't HATE it and I sure as hell don't hate people for liking it. True the acting was pretty bad but some of the action was not that bad.
I honestly can't say this is the worst movie ever made. Come on, there isn't anything worse then this? If not that's pretty sad.
That's my two cents

What the hell does that even mean? So just because people like films that aren't artsy and well acted they are "movie posers"? That's one of the stupidest things I have ever read on this board. I love films like Moulin Rouge and American Beauty but every once in awhile I like to sit back, turn my brain off and be entertained for 2 hours. I thought Fast and the Furious was awesome and I thought Dude Where's My Car was funny. Me and a lot of people on these boards enjoy artsy, well acted films but also like popcorn films as well and like to be entertained. That doesn't make anybody a "movie poser".
Exactamundo.Nobody should give another man hassle for having a different taste/ opinion about movies. One could easily say that Spider-Man is the ultimate popcorn fudder, but due to critical acclaim we all agree that it was brilliant. It's the 'little differences'(PFQ)that make the world go round.

The Fast and the Furious wasn't bad for what it was. I like watching neato cars and tachs going into the stratosphere as much as any man. But I had my expectation meter set delibrately low before entering the theater, so that has to be taken into account. Vin Diesel was a surprise, though. He made the non-car scenes actually bearable to watch.
Without Vin, I see no reason to make a sequel. The man carried The Fast and the Furious to greater heights than it deserved. And why did Vin pull out of the sequel? The first I heard about FatF 2, Diesel was lined up, I thought. What happened? I'd be skeptical about this one, folks.

Good for you -- so do I, but the reality is as long as the masses eat it up over the 100 million mark, they won't stop anytime soon.
Next you're going to be shocked that Britney Spears isn't an Oscar caliber actress.
Have you seen Traffic? -- same concept -- if people will pay for it, someone will provide it. Somehow I doubt you'd be as high and mighty to turn down a FAT check to have made this movie...

Christ on a cracker! Everyone's getting worked up on a post about a stupid popcorn flick. Let those who want to see it, see it. If these movies make as much money as they do... That's what they are going to make. That's the way ANY business goes. I'm a business admin student and, even though I'm a movie FREAK!, I understand completely why they continue to make these movies. There's always a small market for indie films and that's where I turn to. But majority rules, my friends, we all know that. There's no use in arguing about it. We are all here because of our love for the cinema. If people LOVE this movie and are anticipating the sequel, that's their toast. Good for them, they will continue to have more movies like this to enjoy. Thanks to economics. Me, this isn't my type of flick... It just makes me cherish the gems I find every now and then. Now... lets leave insults aside and only give honest opinions. I'm not trying to be on a "high horse" here, I'm just passionate about the movie-lovers of the world keeping the peace. Love, guys, love one another. Peace.

If you like cars then I mean there is nothing wrong with enjoying the movie somewhat..its not great by any-means but its an action movie, most action movies are so called "popcorn" flicks, action is fun and pointless.
