American Psycho 2 is one of those films that is quickly forgotten after its initial viewing and it hardly begs any further thought or discussion afterwards. It is just basically there taking up space before it will eventually fade into oblivion after a while where many direct to video sequels end up. To start off I am not a huge fan of the original Psycho but I admired Christian Bale’s Performance and most of the quirky tongue in check humor. It definitely is a must see movie and is a well-made movie. I would rate it an 8/10. Where the original was quite refreshing in today’s horror landscape the sequel is a by the numbers slasher with few if any surprises or suspense. The plot goes something like this – orphan girl Rachel (Mila Kunis of That 70’s show fame) is a college freshman determined to obtain the teacher’s assistant job to Professor Robert Starkman (Star Trek’s William Shanter). With this position comes an almost shoo-in to a career in the FBI academy at Quantico. When the nominees are narrowed down Rachel goes on a killing spree to achieve her goal. Kunis stands out as she has a lot of fun with the part and is convincing as a psycho. The rest of the cast mails in there parts and pick up their checks. My main beef is the tie-ins to the original, which of course make no sense to that films vision. All in all a there are better time wasters out there and make sure it is an eighty-nine cent rental or better like I shelled out.

well, i have to say that this movie is very interesting. first of all, it should never have been called ap2. just the thought of having a sequal to one of the greatest film ever, and not having christian bale in it? what the hell were these people thinking? there is no way that this film even compares to the original.
i have to say that this movie would have been descent if it had a different title. it has nothing to do with the original (other than having some chick kill p.b. at the begining, which was the biggest slap in the face to all us a.p. fans). that's another thing that pissed me off. after seeing the original a.p., i was amazed at what a wonderful character p.b. was. what the fuck were these people thinking when they had some little 9 year old kill him? that part totally sucked arse, and someone should be shot for it.
anyways, this movie has one good aspect. THE CHICK IS HOT!!! that's all i have to say.
in the end, this movie sucks! (except for the chick. she's hot!!!) the plot is stupid and stereotypical, and the acting in it is just terrible. (except for the chick. she's hot!!!) in the end, i give this movie a 4/10.

After the first and classic American Pyscho, I was hoping that this one would be up to par. We have the gorgeous Mila "Just show us your tits already" Kunis starring, so how could it be bad? LIKE THIS: Bad acting, bad screenplay, bad plotline, mininally distubing killing, unoriginality. Joblo was right, except he gave it too much justice. As a stand alone, this film is alright, no, its sorta alright, but as a sequal to such an original, witty, and sadistic original, just let me die in peace!!

when watching this i forget its a sequel to American Psycho, there are no relations to that film (the filmmakers make a link to the film but either didnt watch it or failed to understand what was going on). the performances are all mostly pretty good, the main cast members at least are great. the script was also pretty good and well written, the direction was also good with no scenes that i felt shouldnt have been there. overall i found All American Girl to be a very entertaining and fun ride as long as you dont compare it to the vastly superior American Psycho
