Idle Hands - 9/10.

This is a very hard movie to rate. I LOVED IT. The only thing is, I'm still confused as to whether is is supposed to be considered Comedy or Horror... I'm going with the obvious, which is both. One of few instances where it is the perfect blend.

I didn't see this movie when it first came out. I finally saw it about a year ago on video. Just looking at the box's art, I vaguely remembered the trailer for it, and I thought it was supposed to be a horror movie. This thought may have been brought on by remembering Devon Sawa in "Final Destination", which I saw much earlier. But from the beginning, I started catching the humor in it. I particularly like his goofy stoner friends (in their undead form). They liven things up a lot.

I think most people have probably seen this movie already, but if you haven't it's a must-see. Go rent a copy. =)

dude this movie was awesome as is any movie with devon. it's about time that people accept the fact that all teenagers do or want to do is sleep, 'get horny', and smoke pot. hell is it our fault? your generation raised us after all right? besides what else better is there to do...work all day? hell no. get over it. this movie was great.. rent it

Definitely somewhere up in a top something for me. I fucking adore this movie. It has one of the best cast ensembles I have ever seen (Davon Sawa I love, Seth Green I praise, Jessie Alba I lust . . . the list goes on). It's absolutely hilarious ("They were killed by ants?!" "Don't be stupid! Do you . . . like, have an evil aunt?") and sarcastic, some actually scary scenes (the opening, for one), memorable lines up to boot, extremely likable characters and actors, fantastic gore, I could go on and on about this, one of the most underrated comedies/horror ever.

i didnt find this very funny when i watched it, the acting and characters just seemed to annoy me throughout the film and despite a couple of funny scenes and some gore i found little of the film to be overly entertaining or fun

i really need to see this again as its the sort of film i usually love
