"Balance of the Force" is a great sounding title! But it doesn't sound "serialish" enough, so Lucas probably won't go for it. "Rise of the Empire" sounds more Lucas' style.

Imagines the teaser, it could have a close up of Vaders mask and then zoom out to reveal it all the while having the breathing over the top then so the title of the film. The fans would go absoulty crazy if they did it.

I doubt the name of the title would have any major words that have already been in another title. For example, THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK is known as "Empire" by most true fans. So EPISODE III will not have "Empire" in the title. I think we can also rule out "Jedi", "Clones" and "Return". I really like
FALL OF THE REPUBLIC and I hope Lucas goes with something like that. We should finally found out what he decides in the fall of 2004.

Because Lucas was going to name Ep. 6 Revenge of the Jedi, but since revenge is not a Jedi "qauilty" he called it Return of the Jedi. Now in Ep 1 when Maul was talking to Palpatine/Sidious he said "At last we will reveal ourselves to the Jedi, at last we will have revenge!" The uprise/takeover that Palpatine/Sidious is controlling will be the greatest revenge of the Sith in the Sith/Jedi history.

DAWN OF THE EMPIRE sounds mighty fine to me, Jeo4. Yet, I don't think Lucas will go there. Since STAR WARS fans have shortened names for each movie, I doubt that George will put
"Empire" in another title. We can rule out "Jedi" and "Clones" too I think. Since Lucas has claimed all along that EPISODE III will be
"a huge downer", I'm going with something along the lines of
the popular FALL OF THE REPUBLIC or even REVENGE OF THE SITH (A tribute to the original title of EPISODE VI: REVENGE OF THE JEDI).
On a side note, I DO NOT think that EPISODE III will suck at all. I was just mockin' some morons who hate STAR WARS. Honestly, I think EPISODE I wasn't on par with the other movies. In Lucas' defense, he HAD
to set all of these new characters up, and that takes quite a bit of time. I think EPISODE II was an excellent film (I saw it 9 times and will buy it tonight at midnight), and I really believe that EPISODE III has a very good chance of being the best STAR WARS film ever. I could give a rat's ass how much it makes at the box office with the shifty and judgmental mass(ess are asses) audience. I mean, come on folks...if Jar Jar Binks really does bite the big one in III...how bad a film could it be?

It won't be "Fall of the Republic" because there is already a FotR (Fellowship of the Ring). The Rise of the Empire is good. I say:
