3000 Miles to Graceland 6/10...

3000 Miles to Graceland is one hell of a fun ride, and I'm not sure why it got trashed so much. Yeah its Costner and other dudes robbing a Vegas Casino with guns blazin and rockin' out to Elvis tunes. Hell it's supposed to be mindless fun and on that level I enjoyed it enough. I thought Courtney Cox would annoy me, but she was pretty good. Overall a fun action ride, with lots of cool gun battles explosions and corny quick witted dialogue...really an action fans delight.

This movie took a critcal bashing when it was realsed. They said it had to much gun fire and to much mayham. The action was spread out, there was a scene at the beginning and at the end. The action scenes were amazing and so violant. The rest of the movie was alright, but at some points it kind of boring.

Kevin Costner was a cool bad guy and played him good. Kurt Russel was good to and was more sutable as the good guy. Courtney Cox was looking good the whole time and Kurt was a luckey guy. All the rest of the Elvises were there to put up the body count and to make Costner look more dangerous. There was also some small roles that were good like Howie long, Kevin pollack, and one shitty actor named Ice-T.

I give it a 7\10 mostley because of the action scenes.

Ugh. I just watched this tonight, and all I can say is that it's one big mess. The first half isn't too bad, with an amusing premise and some hard-boiled action. I liked seeing Russel and Cox work together. However, it gets worse as it goes on. The third act is unforgiveably bad, borderline unwatchable. It doesn't help that it's badly overdirected.

3/10. (at the most)

Kurt Russell is one actor that could never be bad even when he's suppose to be. His teaming up with Courtney Cox was great especially since there was supposedly a conflict in the original script about who was to end up with Cox. Costner needs to get back to playing romantic leads. And who's his stylist now, Bruce Willis? The plot was interesting enough but the shoot-out ending was a tad bit dubious. A 7 is definately generous.
