I'll see it if it's going to be made, but only if they've got a good cast and Spielberg is to direct, otherwise I might skip it.

And how are we supposed to trust this Greg character? I'm itching for a quality Jurassic Park sequel, and I'm still kind of pissed that Stevie would whore the series out to anybody who could write even a half assed script like the writers of Jurassic Park ///. It's not that Joe Johnston is a bad director, in fact he's pretty slick with those action scenes, but unfortunately you need a stellar script along with great direction to make a good movie. I still liked Jurassic Park /// though, even if it was just mindless fun, but I'm seldom hard on any movie. I give every movie a chance and sometimes even enjoy the occasional "most-hated" flick that gets torn up on these boards, like '98's Godzilla for instance, which was excellent cheese.

first of all to Syxxpac, nice name, second of all, if it's the right greg he's the guy that used to run upcomingmovies.com and now runs the upcoming movies section over at yahoo. I would trust this guy with my life, his news is normally on the right track.

Oh that Greg. Yeah, he is reliable. I didn't know that's the one he was talking about.

i heard that steven spielberg was talking about JP4. He said that the quality of the script is just as good as the original JP. So I believe him, so i'll see JP4.

o, also, i just thought of this. the original cast that survived the original JP should all be in JP4. have them have some how end up together fighting the dino dudes. that would be freaking sweet.

The script would have to be awesome for this movie to be made, just on the heels of JP ///. If it's just another rehash of JP /// escapism, the series will die right there.

According to a few people I've heard, Halloween 1 was excellent, Halloween 2 was good but not as good as 1, 3 sucked the big one, but 4 was probably the best sequel. Maybe the same thing will happen to Jurassic Park. I hope anyway.

I think that a fourth one would be dumb, but the other sequels weren't bad. i would probably catch the fourth Jurassic park at the maxi-saver cinema.

If I were the director, here is how I would take it - no returning characters, they have to have learned their lesson by now. Also, it would NOT be rated PG-13, and if it was, it would be FotR PG-13 (or even TLW PG-13). The story would follow a National Geographic crew that was permitted to come to the island, and BioSyn funding the trip (because Biosyn bought InGen out,...secretly). There would be a storm (JP1, JP2,....JP3 - so what!?) and the crew would be stranded on the island, but seperated. It would be a large crew also - bigger death count. There would be soldiers that were there to assist the crew, photopgraphers, writers, ect. And the BioSyn people would be there for their own purposes - to steal the actual dinosaur eggs so that they can restructure the DNA, and make flase documents so that their dinosaurs would be legal. I would also open it alot like the book - with Compy's attacking an infant in its crib on the mainland. No dinosaur rampage on the mainland, however. Anyways,...yeah.

That pretty much sums up my dream sequel. But keep in mind Dumb Fokker that this is a blockbuster Hollywood (probably summer) production, so all those neat little plot details and story twists will probably not be included. Remember, we don't want the audience to feel stupid...

The first Jurassic Park is my all time favorite movie because it is the movie that made me fall in love with film, I was also 7 when it came out and thought it was cool as shit, the only way a 4th JP could be succesful would be to come up with something as revolutionary as the first, and that would probably also make everyone forget about how bad the 3rd one was

I liked all the Jurrasic Parks, 3 wasn't as good as the other two but I still liked it, if they get Michael Crichten to work on the script with them it could be cool.

also Sam Neil AND Jeff Goldblum returning as Ian Malcolm, Allan Grant would be nice, or evn just cameos, or lets justsay for the sake of arguement, Malcolm and Grant are trying to stop this team of people before they get hurt, huh huh?
