I was watching The Matrix the other day, and realized what a great soundtrack it had. It definatly fit the movies style.
So i began thinking, what songs that are out now, should be put in the upcoming Matrix Sequals. What are the perfect songs for it?
Anyone got any suggestions?
I'd say any Rage against the Machines. To bad they broke up http://www.joblo.com/ubb/frown.gif

They should have Prodigy (the group/band) make the soundtrack score for the movie http://www.joblo.com/ubb/smile.gif, i bet they could make some kickass tracks.

How about Linkin' Park? Also, I think the Matrix sequels should put in some rap. They could have some rock group collaborate with a rapper, or something like that. That'd be cool.

It would be great if they put KoRn,Ramms+ein,Coal Chamber, and System of a Down on the soundtrack.
Ramms+ein's Du Hast was on The Matrix soundtrack.

Godsmack - definately needs some Godsmack. 'Trippin' would be the perfect song http://www.joblo.com/ubb/smile.gif 'Now or Never' would be good on here too.
System of a Down would be cool.
Rage will most definately be on there. 'Wake Up' will probably be on there again. 'Freedom' would be nice too.
Crystal Method - something like 'Keep Hope Alive' or 'Busy Child' would fit well.
Nine Inch Nails - maybe like 'Wish'
P.O.D. - Like 'The Messenjah' or 'Masterpiece Conspiracy'
Faith No More - 'Surprise Youre Dead' would be awesome on this soundtrack. Love that song.

Digiatl Assassins - Lock it Down
This is the song that was playing in Dominc's car in The Fast and the Furious. Its a perfect song for it.

I think it should be like the first with mostly metal, techno and industrial. One particular song i think would fit is MINISTRY- NWO

The Matrix Soundtrack is great! For the sequels, they should go with the same style as the first, but add System of a Down, and some other retro music! :)

Some hot news on the upcoming Matrix Reloaded Soundtrack!
News:
If you're already freaking out about next summer's "The Matrix Reloaded," go ahead and take another little red chill pill, because the soundtrack to the sci-fi flick will be out of this world as well.
Among the acts producers are reaching out to for the companion album are Linkin Park, System of a Down, Disturbed, Deftones, Prodigy and former Rage Against the Machine singer Zack de la Rocha, according to a source at Maverick Records. They are among the artists who will be asked to watch clips of the movie for musical inspiration in the next month or so, the source said.
The movie, already tagged as one of next year's potential blockbusters, opens on May 15, with the LP slated to hit stores on May 6. The album's music supervisor is DJ/remixer Jason Bentley.
A separate soundtrack to the third movie in the trilogy, "The Matrix Revolutions," will be compiled to coincide with that film's opening in November 2003.
The soundtrack to 1999's "The Matrix" featured songs from Marilyn Manson, Rage, Deftones, Rob Zombie, Prodigy, Monster Magnet, Ministry and Rammstein.

The soundtrack seems good. Boo-urns for trying to include Linkin Park though, they suck.
I myself would like to see Atari Teenage Riot on the soundtrack, I think their digital hardcore sound would fit, especially songs like Speed, Delete Yourself, or Destroy 2000 Years of Culture.
Fear Factory would also make a good addition, as would KMFDM or Skinny Puppy.

That's strange, why would a song without any lyrics ("Session" - Linkin' Park) appear on the soundtrack?
Also, where the hell is Disturbed? I thought they were going to get a spot on the soundtrack....
Well, the soundtrack for "The Matrix Reloaded" looks pretty cool, and I'm looking forward to listening to some of the songs.
BTW - I don't know about you, but I sure hope that Oakenfold remix is frickin' ace, because I don't see how this film can end (maybe...) with a DMB song. Don't get me wrong, I like DMB, but they don't really seem to fit with this film.
