I clicked on this and was going to say The Soup Nazi...Well, it was a brilliant episode...

"No soup for you!!!"

I could watch that one over and over again. No wait, I do!

And of course the final episode was awesome.

My favorites are:

Soup Nazi
Kenny Rogers Roasters
Chinese Restaurant
The Dealership
The Contest
The one with Jean-Paul (mainly cuz of George and the Texans saying 'Sonofabitch' and 'bastard' about 30 times).
The Bubble Boy
Butter Shave

...and many more.

There's a ton...but surely "The Soup Nazi". Great episode. Oh yeah, and the Portorican parade one, I don't know if that was the precise title.

That was a great one too, Logan.

"Who? Who is burning the flag?".

And the three of them using their "codenames" in that house pretending to be rich buyers...Is this the best tv show ever made or what?

What was the one where everything is shown backwards?

It WAS the best show on television http://www.joblo.com/ubb/frown.gif.

Two great ones I just remembered are :

The Cheever Letters - When a box is found from Susan's father's cabin...and Jerry 'dirty talks' with Elaine's co-worker. "You mean the panties your mother laid out for you?"

and The Outing - The NYT reporter thinks Jerry and George are a gay couple. "Not that there's anything wrong with that"

Man, I miss that show.

I like the Soup Nazi one where Elaine finds SN's recipies....hehe...

And of course Bubble Boy.

And I love the one where George plucks the golfball from the whale. http://www.joblo.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

Am I the only one who thought the last episode really SUCKED?

I don't know if I have an absolute favorite, but if I were to choose it'd probably be...The Contest.

thingsgoinon, I'm not a fan of the finale either. I thought it was kind of an anticlimax and the plot was too far-fetched.

They should've ended with those two clip shows showing past moments and outtakes. Those were great. http://www.tvlinksonline.com/boards/images/smilies/lol.gif

I often wonder if Jerry did it on purpouse (finale). I mean here was a show (parody tho it was meant to be of modern society) about a group of dispicable, selfish, and just unlikeable ppl...Seinfeld should have known it wasn't that good....maybe he purpousely made the last episode not funny as, just to sort of say...hey this isn't really that funny.

Or not.

And how the HELL to you spell purpouse??? http://www.joblo.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

you cannot beat the contest. Thats the great single episode of a tv show in history.

I also love the with puddy wearing the fur jacket.

Some others that come to mind though all were classic:

1. The Reverse Peep Hole which actually might have been part of the fur jacket one now that I think of it

2. Puddy being a big Devils fan and freaking out the priest

3. Lost in the mall parking garage

4. The Bro or Manzier episode

At first I really hated the finale. But I watched it not too long ago and it actually fits the series quite well.

That's a classic scene. One of those that just stick with you and you laugh at it every time you see it. I remember completely losing it the first time I saw it.

Yeah when they all meet and greet each other.

"Pennypacker."
"Varnsten."
"Vandelay."
"Pennypacker."
"Varnsten."
"Wait a second...if you're all here...then who's watching the factory?"
"Factory...what factory?"
"The SAAB factory."
"Why, Jerry, that's in Sweden!"

"The sea was angry that day, my friend - like an old

Finally a thread about the best show ever created!!! It is still the only show I watch every night-two episodes 7:30PM and 11:00PM...I don't care if they are re-runs...they are all re-watchable.

Lots of you have listed many great ones...and some of them are my favorites as well. I especially like the first episodes when George had hair.I love when a woman is flying in to town and Jerry is wondering whether he will see her. and he is talking w/George in the laundromat. "Signals Jerry! Signals!"

The Soup Nazi
The Contest
The Chinese Restaurant
The Mall Garage
Golf-ball in the whale
Keith Hernandez/JFK bit is great!
When they find out Kramer's first name is Cosmo!

Some other ones i like when they go to the Hamptons...and Kramer poaches the lobster...Shrinkage!

When they are all on the subway...Jerry goes to Cony island, Elaine gets stuck in the dark, Kramer wins money on the horses and George gets taken by the prostitute!

When Jerry is buying a new car from Puddy and George is hungry at the car-dealership...Twix line-up!

When jerry dates the deaf lineswoman(Marlee Matlin) and George wants her to read lips for him...I love it when they are at dinner and George is asking Jerry and they are trying to cover there mouths...and at the end she just says "I'll do it."-Classic

Oh and as a movie fan I love all the ones that involve movies!!
"Prognosis Negative!"
"Rochelle Rochelle"
"You were making out during Schindler's List!?"
Elaine hating The English Patient and wants to see Sack Lunch.
Death Blow! and Jerry's brief career as a pirate filmmaker
Edward Scissorhands and Jerry's bad haircut

I'm sure there are more...and there are countless references to other films...JFK like I mentioned...the Midnight Cowboy one where Jerry and Kramer are on the bus and Kramer has nose-bleeds. Oh and when Jerry's father gets impeached after Jerry buys him a new cadillac...and he does the Nixon bit at the end when he leaves.

Some of my favorite quotes...
"that's a shame"
"I've looked into his eyes...he is pure evil"(Jerry talking about Newman)
"and you want to be my latex salesman..."

Anyway...does anyone know where I can get all of these on tape...did they ever come out? Will they ever come out? Does anyone know...

And one more thing for you fans...here is a little Seinfeld Quiz. I missed like 2...was very dissapointed...but it said I was a loyal seinfeld fan...but not obsessed!

I liked the one where Elaine's boyfriend dumped her because she didn't like "The English Patient"

Also the one where Elaine's boyfriend steals Jerry's "move"

I think the episode with Elaine's boyfriend the "close talker", I believe this is the same episode where Kramer and Jerry's dad went into business selling raincoats. Also anything with George's parents in it.

I just thought of perhaps my all time favorite moment from Seinfeld.

It is the episode where Jerry is video taping movies and George trying to prove what a rebel he is to impress a woman decides to do it and is arrested. George's dad comes down to bail him out and gets into it with Elaine.

There is this moment when he says to Elaine,

"Do you want a piece of me!"

They charge at each other and the episode ends. The line in combination with his face and stuff kills me just thinking about it.

I also like these episodes that I forgot to mention:

The Cigar Store Indian
The Sneaky Guy (the one where Elaine give the guy Tic-Tacs so she can here him coming)
The One Where Puddy is Religious
The Puerto Rican Day one
The One At the Beach House (Where everyone but George sees his g/f naked)

Ahh who am I kidding? They're all great!!!!

i loved Festivus for the Rest of US, i celebrate every year with my metal pole...

I also thought the final episode was subpar... i think it was tough to end a show about nothing, i mean eveyr other "sitcom" has some sort of story line, but Sienfeld... where is it suppose to end?

the finale still coul dhave been better though

Decorating a tree or spinning a driedal(i'm sure I butchered that spelling) can never top attempting feats of strength with a metal pole.
