FAMILY GUY!!! Dear God why did Fox have to tickle our balls so many times by bringing it back for a month or two. I miss it. I miss it so.

Off the top of my head, The Chronicle and Norm. The Chronicle was a great show on Sci-fi that did a tremendous job of balancing horror, sci-fi, and comedy. It had a genuine b-movie vibe to it. I have no clue why it was axed. It was receiving strong ratings and had developed a rabid fanbase, but it only lasted a single season! And of course, Norm was entertaining solely because of Norm Macdonald. Anything he appears in is hilarious!

Freaky Links with Ethan Embry. It was my fave show. They should've moved it to a different timeslot instead of Friday nights and it would've got more ratings but I never missed an episode.
I loved American Gothic (95-96). It had a great deal of potential and it was a shame it was axed after 1 season.

This Friday is the last fucking episode, and I'm unhappy. This truly was my favorite show. All I have now is Conan and Nick at Nite. There is now nowhere in TV land for me to get my nightly fix of common sense. Typical...

FREAKS AND GEEKS should never have been cancelled. What the hell was up with NBC? They destroyed that gem from the start. Didn't they originall start it off on Saturdays? Are they fuckin' nuts!? They didn't even give it a chance. NBC fucked a sure hit!
The Other

My So-Called Life should have never been cancelled. It's my favorite TV show and it was only on for one season (19 episodes). I'm waiting for them to release it like on DVD or something. Like the complete season or series.

Action. it was a show on Fox starring Jay Mohr and Illeana Douglas where Mohr starred as an asshole movie producer who needs to get a movie started after his previous one bombs. it was always one of my favorite shows. can't go wrong w/ dialogue like:
Assistant: Peter, you brought your whore to the premiere!
Mohr: No, she's my prostitute, you're my whore
Family Guy, Ren and Stimpy, Freedom (a Joel Silver action show that was on UPN) and Married With Children were among my favorites (MWC never even got a final episode)

I'm probablly one of the very few people here that feel this way, but I loved Felicity. I almost cried when they cancelled it(not really). I couldn't care less about Dawson's Crack or any other teeny bopper drama, but I just liked Felicity.

Scarface, Married with Children did have a finale of sorts, with that wedding thing and all; I forgot the details.
Did they cancel Family Guy? I thought it was pretty funny.

"Undeclared"
"Family Guy"
"Freaks and Geeks"
"Action"
"Andy Richter Controls the Universe" - I think they cancelled this, but I'm not sure.

I watched one of those E! True Hollywood Stories on the show (couldn't help myself) and the reason I brought up the finale was because they said they wanted to do a 1 hour series finale w/ the original writers, original director, and such, but the show was axed before it could happpen and none of them were told of its cancellation till later

The almighty Brisco County Jr.!
I loved this show when I was younger and watched it every friday night(or was that saturday night?). I really mis this show and can't wait for the first and only season to be released on DVD.
What the hell were they thinking not making another season?!?
Bruce Campbell needs to work work work!!!

I reckon Grosse Pointe. That show was very funny. You'd think a show created by Darren Star (Sex And The City) would survive more than one season, and the way it ended shitted me, because it was a good cliffhanger, that needed to be resolved.

ACTION was a classic show! There were more bleeping-outs in its first five minutes than in a single episode of "Jerry Springer." But aside from that for the daring usage of profanity, ACTION was a sharp and very fierce view of Hollywood from the eyes of its biggest jerk-off.
Other shows I'm sad to see gone:
MURDER IN SMALL TOWN X (it was a reality show, yes, but Fox would never think of putting it on again)
MYSTERY SCIENCE THEATER 3000
MATCH GAME (the new version from 1999 was a good way to kill a weekday morning)

The George Carlin Show (It was on Fox for maybe two seasons at the most) Really funny and on the edge. He played a cab driver that hung out in the corner bar.
My favorite episode was the one where George got hemmroids. He had to go to the drug store to get one of those inflatable donuts to sit on. He got into an argument with two people before getting to the pharmacist. Then he gets to the pharmacist
George: Can you tell me where those inflatable donuts are?
Pharmacist: Over next to the douchebags
George (pointing to the two he just agrued with) Oh by them? Thanks

I think they are cancelling Dark Angel. Although the second season I didnt really watch cause I didnt like it all that much, I still think that that show had potential(I really enjoyed the 1st season.) I didnt know Politically Correct was cancelled? When did this happen?

Nope, ColinM, the dude who ran USA took over Sci-Fi, and axed the show at the first chance he got.

"Life Goes On" !!
Damnit, why in the fuck did they ax the Corkmeister? Corky Ruled!
Truth be told...it was cancelled because of POLITICAL PRESSURE!!
Yep, Corky riled the Democrats during Clinton's first administration by demonstrating that the mentally challenged really are not...self sufficient.
Seriously, how many times did that fuckhead burn down the fucking restaurant? Dickhead...thy name is Corky!
Clinton pressured ABC to cancel it, 'cause he felt as if the constant Corky chicanery would deep six his "Handicapped legislation".
Clinton: "Listen, get that fuckin' retard OFF THE FUCKING AIR, NOW!"
Stephanopoulous: " Why, yes, sir...anything you say! Care to see me suck dick again?"
Clinton: "Naw..thats ok, ya little Greek cocksucking boot licker. Just banish that fuckin' douchebag Corky to...Public service commercials with Tracy Ullmam"
Stephanopoulous: "Will do!! Anything you say, oh wise one!!"
That conversation really happened, folks. You just will never hear about it 'cause the REAL political shows get cancelled. Ya know, the ones you can TRUST.
By the way, I'm currently emailing back and forth with Erik Estrada...and HE'S PISSED! I believe he said: "Gimme that lil' retard Gringo muthafukkah! I love that kid!!"
I'll post them soon...
Have a great NIGHT!!!
Right we have done 34 posts and it seems I am gonna have to be the one who mentions Dr. Who. It ran for 26 years but it was a complete lack of vision from the bbc to cancel. And guess what bbc, getting 9.5 million viewers in a country of 60 million, for a tv movie which was crap, is a good rating!
Oh, I dispair.

Futurama is easily my favourite show ever! - hence the username http://www.joblo.com/ubb/biggrin.gif
FOX really are idiots - they give it a bad timeslot and expect it to do better than the Simpsons. Just in DVD sales they must have got tons of money. I treasure my season 1 DVD soo much....WHY OH WHY DID THEY CANCEL YOU!?!? *bursts into tears*
