whoever came up with this is a genius i cannot believe how entertaining it is watching people do nothing, all getting bored and ratty with each other,i sit here watching waiting for the fireworks to go off and when they do it is superb telly
It's a fucking brilliant show. Did anyone see Jade and Adele getting at each others throats last night? I was howling!

You guys are talking about the UK version. They finally brought it over to the USA. I fell in love with the show the first time I saw it. It's funny watching people bicker like crazy at each other.

By far the best reality television show. Survivor is a bunch of crap IMO.
But the first season of BB was the best though. Will Mega was a dickhead and George the Chicken Man was so god damn great! He should have won! Blasphemy!

It was bloody marvellous to see Jade almost get her fat head kicked in!
Alex is the best by far...does he actually realise how humourous he is!?
Hmmm...and his rather camp ways are oddly reminiscant of a certain comedy legend!

It's a godawful piece of programming!!!
It was very innovative when it was first on, now it's just a load of godawful shite!!!
It is very very bad!!!

Not a great show but ok.
My brother was in classes with Lynne from BB3 last year at aberdeen uni. He said he couldn't stand her, and she came off better on tv than in real life. Which is saying something seeing as she lasted a week. There's some useless trivia for you.

Never watched the show, but I bet they were inspired for the name by the book 1984, where a futuristic government is run by the might-or-might-not-be-real "Big Brother", and cameras all over the place--in the street, in people's house--watch everyone to make sure no crimes are committed, with the slogan "Big Brother is watching you"

Well these shows suck. Although you can study the behaviour of the human race blah blah
Anyone seen "Das Experiment" ?????
That's good!
In Greece we had 3 BB's in a season! NO SH**!
Well the truth is we had 2 BB's in one channel and a BB replica called BAR in another channel... i do not want to predict the future though, but it looks baaad!
ps-Plus the people that enter have a certain below average I.Q levels, they say enough dumm quotes that not even the 2 Scary Movie films cannot compete!
But hey, that's just me!

I have to admit...I'm still well and truly addicted! It's all getting rather saucy at the minute...
My personal opinion is as follows;
*BB VILLAIN*
Johnny...
What a complete and utter tosser...I will be sorely dissapointed if this inane arse minces away with 70 Grand!
The insipid muppet is practically incapable of functioning without a fag in hand and a cup of cheap cider...He has spent the best part of the show whining about lack of food, friends and the fact that his Fam have had to travel all the way from "git good New'astle!"...
*BB HERO*
Alex...
A camp delight that has managed to win the Nations heart despite his Rubber-glove fetish, effette swagger and Union Jack thong!
Very entertaining after a few shandies...His chats in the Diary Room are priceless!
He appears to have a heart of Gold and a dry wit!
A true Winner IMO!

Personally I think this series of BB is the best so far. The people are more down-to-earth, and its like watching a live action 'Simpsons' as PJ is definetly Homer!
I think Jade should have been thrown out for being so annoying, bitching about everyone and generally dim....
It would be interesting to see the other versions from around the world.
Perhaps an American contributor could tell us how their version is shown - Censorship, times, what channel etc?

The American version (where I live) is shown on CBS at 8/7 central time in the evening. The network censors the language and the potential nudity. You aren't allowed to see really anything. I still find the show great and it definitely beats summer rereuns.
