Get Smart is by far the funniest and best show on that network. Bewitched is great but I haven't seen it in so long.

Yeah I love they've been showing Barney Miller and Happy Days...they even had Chico and the Man on a couple times....
I haven't seen any stations bring back Quincy, I wish they would.

Although it was only on two seasons, ('77-'78) I think Ferwood 2night/America 2night had to have been one of the all time funniest shows ever. Martin Mull and Fred Willard together are absolute genius. The straight faced way they had of interviewing all those ridiculous guests was just too much! The house band Happy Kine and the Mirthmakers were usually good for a laugh as well. Check this show out it's on Friday and Saturday nights at midnight on T.V. Land. Other favorites include Batman, Beverly Hillbillies, and Barney Miller. One show I've been hoping they would put on that they to this point haven't, is SCTV. All of these shows employ the same type of dry, sarcastic humor that I enjoy.

I knew there had to be at least one Fernwood fan out there someplace. http://www.joblo.com/ubb/biggrin.gif I was only 4 years old during it's original run however, I just remember it from when it reran on Nick at Nite about 12 years ago.

Oh my god, Tom Waits was on Fernwood last week in the most hilarious episode I've seen yet. His bus broke down on the way to a concert in Toledo so they had him on the show. He was a bit liquored up to say the least, and gave an awesome rendition of a tune entitled "The piano has been drinking".hehehehe. When asked where he was from he replied "bedlam and squalor" and then asked the host for twenty dollars. http://www.joblo.com/ubb/biggrin.gif You just don't see tv like this anymore. It's amazing to me that this show only ran for part of two seasons, I guess people just didn't "get it" at the time. What a shame.

I like Get Smart and Sanford and Son, Family Ties is also entertaining in a 80s way. I honestly think most televison from the 60s and 70s is so goddamn dated and that makes it unbearable to watch. I really can't stomach most of that garbage, does tv land get Soap or Three's Company...?(i liked them) I don't get the channel anymore... I guess I'll stop with this long boring message. Ho-ray.

I used to watch all these shows back when they were aired on Nick at Nite in the 80s. Some of them were alright and others (Car 54 Where are You?) sucked. Overall they just really remind me of my childhood. Well thats all for now GOoD JOURNEY my fellow schmoes.
