Hey all!
As most of you already know, we are going to be adding more new forums over the next few weeks (http://www.joblo.com/ubb/Forum14/HTML/000619.html) and likely updating our board to the latest (and greatest) version, so here's one to start things off.
Seeing as the GENERAL MOVIE TALK forum was getting a little inundated with posts, I figured that this new CELEBRITY TALK & GOSSIP forum would be a good way to deviate some of the traffic, which is more, well...frivolous in nature.
A couple of points:
1) PLEASE do not turn this forum into a "who do you like better: eddie murphy or martin lawrence?" forum (keep that kind of stuff in BEST/WORST/FAVORITES/ETC..), because I'd like to think that there's more to discuss than just "who's better, who's worse", etc...
2) I think the best thing for this forum would be for you guys/and gals to post certain stories or rumors that you might've read on another site or newspaper (with proper source info, please!), so that everyone else could have something to read and discuss. I've noticed that many of the more interesting threads start out with news items, etc...
3) If you're NOT interested in celebrity gossip, if you think it's worthless to discuss rumors or toss your two cents into the mix of public opinion...DON'T FREQUENT this forum and bitch about how everyone should "mind their own business" since this is just a "fun" forum to begin with, so taking it all seriously...just isn't the point!
I think that's it for now. Enjoy the new digs, check out some of the more recent threads that I've moved up for conversation's sake, and I hope you like the rest of the stuff that we've got planned as well...adios!!
