A smoking woman doesn't really have an effect on me. I mean I notice her if she is smoking or not. But that's just me.

I don't think smoking boosts women's sex appeal at all. This is just a lie that's been forced into our minds by the media and tobacco industry. The cooler we think it is, the more we spend on cigarettes, and the richer they get.

I don't think a woman will be too sexy down the line with a big hole in her throat.

I think in the old movies the men (ex. Humphrey Bogart) looked a little bit cool while smoking. But now I just find it to be a product-placement. As for women it's a big turn off. I wouldn't want to wake up next to a women with bad breath.

Okay all joking aside,

As far as movies go especially the old Film Noir types I think smoking can enhance the character male or female.

And yes it may trip the whole male ego, hey she is sticking a *ick in her mouth thing on some subconsious level.

But as with many things in movies I do not want to experience it in real life. I have kissed a smoker before and believe me that is not something I wish to repeat.

Smoking by any character in any instance has always annoyed me. I have never bought the 'enhancing the character' arguement. It's about time that it is phased out of movies altoghether...

As for woman smoking, I used to think that Jamie Pressly was quite hot until I saw her with a smoke in her mouth now I could care less about her as an actress or a person.

I am a guy who has never dated a smoker (well one but she would hide it from me and the only reason I know is because my brother narced her out... I dumped her ass shortly after because this guy doesn't date smokers)

I assume that they look normal, like any non smokers. Now, I haven't seen pictures of normal lungs in health class but I'm sure they don't look half as disgusting as a smoker's lungs do. Don't try to get cute with me, alright. I'll always have a response.
