As most of you know, pop "superstar" Britney Spears is slowly slipping from in-demand fame to has-been land. After her split with boyfriend NSYNC leading man Justin Timberlake, Spears is slowly ruining her life and stardom. Spears has been smoking heavily, dancing topless[which we don't mind here and there], and gaining weight. In an April issue of "Entertainment Weekly" a journalist for the magazine eyed that since more that hip-hop, dance music, and pop songs favoring hip-hop[which Spears has barely done except her song "Boys Remix" with Pharell Willimas of N.E.R.D.], Spears may fall off the charts. After getting in more trouble for giving a reporter a finger and after getting booed off a concert stage in Mexico, it looks like Britney Spears may get herself into quite a "John Travolta" situation in the near future. I say, hahahahaha!

God knows I have been praying on my knees everynight, making sacrifices and chanting under the moonlight for the end of Britney Spears, but I just don't see it happening so easily. I'm such a pessimist.

She's only taking a 6 month break, which isn't really that long in Hollywood time. You can still see her face in various ads and or articles either outside,on TV, magazines or on the net which is a great way to keep an "artist" in the public profile till they start working again.

Her problem is that she started too young and has saturated the market somewhat, and when she started she was appealing to a younger audience, and could not use her sexuality as much as she does now.

Avril Lavigne, on the other hand, is already 18 and is an immature hypocrite. She is singing utter tripe, trying to be Alanis Morrisette or Pink, but does not have the talent or the brains to carry it off. Her song "Complicated" is complete crap, she is denouncing pretenders, and her video has her going around causing havoc, stealing, mocking the cops, basically trying to be non-conformist, while at the same time pouting for the camera, wearing flawlessly applied makeup, her hair perfect and with perfect teeth. Great news for all schmoes:
I read on an Italian newspaper that apparently Britney was offered 2 million $ to do a nude photo shoot for Playboy, and this time she's seriously taking the offer into consideration because she's trying to break free of her "good girl" image, and it's only because of her mum that she hasn't done it yet
