They were the fourth billed band on Ozzfest that year, behind System of a Down, Disturbed and Avenged Sevenfold. I'm OK with the first two, but how the fuck does Lacuna Coil get put behind a fad band like Avenged Sevenfold?

Yeah, but at least Lacuna Coil proved they deserved the spot more. They were excellent, while you everyone in Avenged Sevenfold seemed to be barely able to play their instruments (I think someone's been using Pro-Tools in the studio...) and got several of the metalheads angry when they stumbled through a cover of Pantera's "Walk". At least Disturbed made up for it. It was too bad I didn't get to see System of a Down as we had to drive three hours back to our hotel and I was dead tired.
