I don't do trailers over 56K and I don't go back to school for a month... So what's it about?

I think it's about a virus that gets loose and turns people into zombie-like creatures. Sounds unoriginal, but it's Danny Boyle directing, so should be good.

Are you sure about that? By the looks of the trailer thats not what its about. and according to IMDB: Its just about a virus that wipes out the planet, and itsup to a handful of survivors to save the human race from extinction.
In the trailer it lists many words, and shows a man who wakes up to find that the planet is empty, with no living soulds around.

I downloaded the trailer here at work (sounded good, so I took the chance) and it does seem like, at first, he is all alone, but at the VERY END of the trailer something JUMPS and makes that stereotypical growl sound for all "boo scares" at the end of horror movie trailers. SOOOOOOoooooo... I think there are zombie type creatures, but I doubt seriously this is a pure horror movie.

It is listed on IMDB...as Drama/Sci-fi , no horror element what so ever.

Okay, this is what Empire magazine says about it.
It's set in the near-future where a man-made virus has turned all but a few survivors into murder-machines. Digital tweaking will give the filma post-apocalyptic look, but otherwise the filmmakers reckon they've returned to the basics of Shallow Grave, via George Romero and 70's B-movies.
So, that'd confirm that there are zombie-like creatures, and some sort of a horror aspect. The producer also describes it by saying : "Imagine if Ken Loach had directed a zombie movie". I'm afraid I'm a bit lost because I don't know Ken Loach, but this does look pretty interesting. Especially since the trailer obviously didn't give anything away, but rather woke a lot of interest towards the film.

Are you sure it's not a sequel to 28 Days?

I saw the teaser for it when I went to watch Resident Evil (which was a great film by the way) and thought it looked good. At the end of the trailer i saw these two red freaky eyes starring right back at me. I say me because I think i was the only one who actually saw them, the eyes kinda flashed and then went away. I remember saying to my friends:
"WHAT THE CHUFF?? DID ANYONE SEE THAT??" in a whisper of course, and they responded by saying: "See what?"
It freaked me out and i wanna watch it now, what did anyone else think if they have seen the trailer.

The trailer kicks ass. This movie and a New Zealand movie called UNDEAD that are coming out look like really really cool zombie (a debatable issue with 28 Days Later, I guess) flicks. If anyone has any idea when either or both movies come out in the US of A, post it on up here! (There is a seperate discussion for UNDEAD, if anyone is interested).
