VH1 v.s MTV

Which channel do you like better, VH1 or MTV ? In my opinion, I think VH1 blows MTV right out of the water, because it shows a close-up view of music, the history of music, and all the controversy surrounding it, plus it shows better music videos.


So now your turn: VH1 or MTV ?

Now, it's a different story if you order MTV 2.

If it's the main MTV channel vs the main VH1 channel then VH1 pisses all over MTV. MTV2 is, comparatively, leagues ahead of the opposition. The only channel that comes within pissing distance of MTV2 is the Q Music Channel. Good as MTV2 is though it could be a shitload better. If I could be in charge of programming for MTV2 I guarantee that the diversity of music on show would increase tenfold. There is some great stuff out there that doesn't get any airplay. As an alternative music channel MTV2 is selling itself short. I have to choke back the vomit every time I see fucking piss poor US rock wank like Nickelback, Creed, Piddle of Mudd and their ilk. Jesus Christ on a fucking pogo stick...there are great bands that deserve the kind of levels of saturation these dickwads get.

I don't get MTV2 (one of the few reasons living in Canada sucks) but VH1 is miles better than MTV. But MuchMusic beats them both, even though some of their programming is MTV's anyway.

Screw 'Em Both, I say! MuchMusic USA and MTV2 are so much better any day!

By the way, has anyone else seen "Behind the Music that Sucks" on MuchMusic? LOL that show's hilarious!
