Man I love this book. It has to be my favorite of all time. Incase you don't know it's the prelude to the Lord Of The Rings Trilogy. It's a really great adventure/fantasy book.

Good book. Not as good as the LORD OF THE RING trilogy, but definitely a great read. I highly recommend it to anyone who likes the genre too.

I actually read the hobbit for my 6th grade "free reading" month, very nice book with great imagination transitivity

Ya Tolkien wrote this as a childrens book so many find it a little to fluffy compared to LOTR. But I love it!

I think The Hobbit reads just like a screenplay and I have no doubt it will be made into a movie, the studios are too greedy not to, it is just a matter of time.
