I rented Onimusha 3: Demon Seige recently and beat it. Good game, great way to end the series. I reccomend you rent that. Worth your time.

Driver 3 for Playstation.

Not great, but not that bad either. I've always been a big fan of the Driver series and this one expands on the good things from the first two. It's just hard not to compare it to the Grand Theft Auto series. However, I'll admit that the linear style of gameplay is a welcome change of pace from the non-linear style presented by the Grand Theft Auto games. There's also some other issues (i.e. controlling Tanner as he's walking, shooting, etc.) that could have been executed better, but the driving is excellent as usual. Top it off with some decent voice acting, excellent cut-scenes, and surprising cool level variation and Driver 3 is a pretty neat little game.

I picked up X-Men Legends for PS2. My short review is that it is like "Baldur's gate" and "Champions of Norrath," but better in every way except for those cutscenes which are created with the game engine and look awful, but since the story is so much better than either of those two games, that doesn't matter much. The story is not just filler for a dungeon crawl like the "Baldur's gate" series or "Champions," it really does draw you in.

It offers a lot of new versitility since you can have a team of X-men, and the AI for your allies is very good at avoinding stupid stuff. So, the only negative for the game is that its difficulty is on the "Baldur's Gate" level of difficulty, and it might be a little easy.

I bought Leisure Suit Larry: Magna Cum Laude for X-Box after I finished X-men Legends (X-men legends is great).

About 5 hours into the game I love the game, but I wish I bought the game for PC (but my PC sucks), or the PS2 that I own (a gamespot review that said beware of loading screens scared me over to X-box). The reason is that I would prefer to CHEAT and play the game in "naughty mode," which you can unlock with a number of tokens after beating the game, because while the story is awesome and funny as hell, but the minigames are "Atari 2600," and I don't need to go through them over again when I'm done.

Still, It's great, and would be a worthy purchase. I played "Burnout 3" for the first time last week, and I'm glad for now that I bought this to play instead.

I just bought a Gamecube bundled with Super Smash Bros Melee. Got Zelda Windwaker free, and Super Mario Sunshine and Animal Crossing for $15 each. For a grand total of $140 after tax, still cheaper than a solo PS2.

Bought a PSP a few weeks back and so far have Untold Legends, Lumines, Wipeout Pure, Mercury and yesterday added Burnout Legends to my collection. All of these games have their individual merits.

Untold Legends is an above average hack & slash action/rpg in the style of the console Baldur's Gate games. So far it's addictive and judging by the size of the world map its going to offer a substantial challenge (the game world is fucking huge). 4 out of 5 so far

Lumines is a sublimely addictive puzzle game that comes with a few different modes of play. The puzzle mode is infuriating but I keep coming back for more. 4.5 out of 5 so far

Wipeout Pure is the best in the series so far. And i've played them all. The icing on the cake is that there has been a constant stream of extra downloadable content consisting of new tracks, vehicles and challenges. Beautiful graphics and very controllable. A solid 5 out of 5 so far.

Mercury is another puzzle game and it reminds me a bit of Marble Madness. You basically tilt an arena upon which rests a ball of liquid mercury. Your task is to guide the liquid mercury to the goal through a series of obstacles as puzzles. This one seemed a bit simple to begin with but as you progess it gets way harder and much more addictive. 3.5 out of 5 so far...but I sense it will get better the further I progress.

Burnout Legends is a real pulse pounder. I briefly messed around with a couple of the console versions but this is the first in the series that i've really sank my teeth into. And it's magnificent. Lovely graphics and the kind of high speed gameplay that gets the adrenaline pumping through your veins big time. It's the kind of game that you promise you're gonna have one more shot at before you go to sleep and next thing you know its 1am and hands are hurting from gripping the PSP too damn tight. 4.5 out of 5 so far.

Now all I need is Ridge Racer and Everybody's Golf and i'll be content until GTA turns up.

The more I play Episode 2, the more I like it. Once you get a hang of the battle system, it becomes much better. I'm at the Ormus Strongholy right now. Flipping through the guide, I see that I only have a couple of dungeons left, so I should be able to beat it before Wednesday. I can't wait. I hear it's the best of the three. There's so many great RPGs coming out before next year. September's got Valkyrie Profile 2, and then the long awaited FFXII on Oct. 31st! Woo!

Orgulla was an annoying piece of shit. Anyway, I just got to Old Miltia, and I just spent an hour or two doing a couple of GS campaigns. I've got the guide, so I'm seeing which ones have the worthwhile rewards. The most annoying one was the one where you have to fix that robot's memory on the Elsa. It's COMPLETELY random, and took me 45 minutes to get the last light lit up. I nearly snapped the game in half. Also, that Rod guy you fight in Old Miltia (14 Years Ago) was an annoying piece of shit, too.

The Patriarch was a fucking bitch. I was pwning his ass, until he got to his second form. He had like 6000 HP left, and he did a move that launched Jr. and Jin into the air, and Proto Omega boosted, and it did that stupid ultra mega laser thing and killed everyone. So, the second time around, I was prepared and WHOOPED his ass (Proto Omega never even got to attack). Albedo was annoying, too, only because he kept HEALING HIMSELF! Eventually, I killed him. So yeah, I just beat the game, and now I cannot wait until Wednesday. I hope I have that day off from work so I can play all day (after school, of course).

From what I've heard, Episode III is a more than worthy end to the series. Game Informer gave it an 8.5, which makes me very happy.

Same here. I've played Saints Row and its great but Just Cause is mind blowing. I'll be buying that the day it comes out. Another game I can't wait for a price drop for is Lego Star Wars 2. Just Cause & Dead Rising

Both look exceptional but I cannot believe the quality of the cut scene graphics in Dead Rising. The character models are outstanding. Game looks like a lot of fun but I can see the lack of additional save game slots becoming annoying and the suggestion that if I want more save game slots I should go buy a memory card (as I think it has the nerve to suggest in the manual) is fucking insulting. Fortunately I believe I can connect my PSP up and use it's memory card for storing an additional save. Just Cause is a lot of fun. You have a remarkable amount of freedom as to how you can approach the missions. The first mission i've completed using a total of three different approaches and each one worked successfully. Great game.
