The Resident Evil Series

What do you think of the series which includes Resident Evil, Resident Evil 2, Resident Evil 3: Nemesis, Resident Evil: Code Veronica, as well as the director's cut of the original and the new remake of the original for Gamecube??

Personally, I love the series. It provides plenty of zombies, guns and gory, scary fun. I'll admit to having jumped a few times while playing Resident Evil II late night in a dark room.

Which part of the series is you favorite?

Also, what do you think Capcom's decision to license all following Resident Evil titles solely on the Gamecube platform? I think it's a bad idea and I don't like it. I just started playing Code Veronica on Playstation a couple weeks ago and I love it. It's a shame that it will probably be the last RE game ever on Playstation.

I never liked them. Mainly because of the sucky gameplay. Walking through a bunch of zombies shouldn't be that hard, but it is.

I never really had a problem with the controls. The camera angles sucked sometimes but other than that it was ok. The only thing I had a problem with was the firing system.

The RESIDENT EVIL for Game Cube has, hands down, the BEST GRAPHICS EVER! They are remaking all the RESIDENT EVIL games including making two more NEW games before calling it quits on the series.

The next one will be RESIDENT EVIL ZERO which is a prequel to the first one and then they will release all the other remakes before releasing RESIDENT EVIL 4 - the final one.

I never played RESIDENT EVIL until it was remade for Game Cube. But I like the game a lot.

I'm not a fan of the movie though. I'd rate the movie about a 6/10.

I love Resident Evil. I'm kind of glad that Capcom decided to put all new games on the GameCube since that's the only system I have. My favorite of the series is VERONICA. I think the orignal had the best plot, but part 2 had the best scares. I'll get Zero opening day on November 12th and I am psyched for part 4 when it comes out next fall.

I love the series, thinking of buying a Gamecube just to get the remake.

My favourite is definitely Resi 2, the graphics were amazing and the opening sequence one of the finest period.

I loved the resident evil series, it bugged me a little with the new one, only because I can't beat it worth shite, but I still love them, my favorite is nemesis, I just love having to black that thing up with my gatling gun so much, and the mini-game is fun
and of course the worst res. evil was survivor, I beat it twice in 1 day, never played it again, and for some reason they are still making the game....wonder why, oh well

I love the storyline of this game. I'm not so much of a freak for the games (I do love them though - especially the remake) but a freak for the branching and intricately detailed storyline. It's the only video game I know of that throws a gripping story at you full of more conspiracies than Fox Mulder. I love it. Too bad they didn't turn the game into as great a movie as it could have been. The controls are a bit stiff and awkward, but you do get used to them after a while.

Oh yeah, and there's only a select few things in life that make you more proud of your accomplishment of blowing an exceptionally fiesty zombie's head off with a dinky little 9mm pistol.

My favorite character is:

Albert Wesker: My favorite RE villain, and possibly one of my favorite villains in all of gamedom. He's slick, cool, calm and just when you thought he was dead, he comes back to make your life a living hell.

The Resident Evil series was starting to get a little played out. Then Nintendo releases the remake for the Gamecube. Holy Shit!!!! That game has some of the best graphics I have ever seen on any system. and it WILL scare the shit out of you!! There are so many tense moments, especially when you think you have killed a zombie only to find out that it has mutated into something more dangerous.....and you are out of ammo. I have become a "Resident" fiend once again!!!! Can't wait for "Resident evil 0"!!!!
