Look forward to or will definitely miss?
I mean, after having seen the trailer.

This is my most anticipated movie of the year. The Chamber Of Secrets is my favorite book of the series so far... It will definitley be better than The Sorcerer's Stone...

I agree with Horror Whore, although my most awaited movie of the year is MINORITY REPORT tied with LOTR: TT. Oh, and my fave book of the series is "The Prisoner of Azkaban", so that's the one I'm waitin' for the most.

Prisoner is definately my favorite book, but in terms of the movies, it will not translate very well. The Chamber will be the best cinematic effort out of this whole series because it retains a reasonable length, and is all-around more cinematic in terms of story-telling. I am really looking forward to this one. Especially after the teaser.

Looks promising. HP was a 6/10 for me, but everyone says that the second book will translate better to movie form. I will see it if the reviews are positive (and they probably will be).

Considering the fact that every book in the series got progressively better (both Prisoner of Azkaban and Goblet of Fire are classic), I'm looking forward to The Chamber of Secrets more than The Sorcerer's Stone. It's just a better story.

P.S. - Am I the only one wondering how they're going to translate Goblet of Fire into movie form? The main storyline of the book doesn't start until halfway through!

Fokker's got a point. A GOOD point.

And as we're talking Harry Pott'...any of you know when the fifth book is comin' out? I need that one when I go on holiday in August, or I'm gonna have to read the first four all over again to keep myself entertained. http://www.joblo.com/ubb/smile.gif

Well, I am currently reading "Chamber of Secrets" right now. So far, it's much better than "Socerer's Stone". It's darker and funnier too. I think the movie is going to be great! I am looking forward to seeing this one much more than the first film.

It still makes you wonder how they manage to fit all this filming and creating the special effects, into one year.
Obviously the final film will suffer in many places because of it. This is fact. The pre-determined release date is a shit (Please, don't give me a lecture on why this occurs, I know why...)

I have never picked up one of the books, but enjoyed the first film well enough, and I'm quite looking forward to the progression of the story.

I've only read the first book in the series so far (I plan on reading them all soon) and haven't seen the teaser for COS yet, but I'm looking forward to it very much because I really loved Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone (8/10) and everybody I know says this one will be better.

I liked the first Potter movie (8/10) and i saw it before reading any of the books. Now i've read "the philosopher's stone" i can say the book is amazing. "Chambers.." is way better than the great first one (can u imagine how good it is). I think i'll read the four ones in a raw.

Mostly i'm awaiting to see scenes like the duelling club and the whomping willow. VERY EXCITED and can't wait for it to come out.
actually can't wait to finish reading and see how it ends!

The sure thing is that Chris Colombus is not going to direct (Prisoner Of Azkaban). Daniel Radcliff may not play Harry in the third movie coz he's growing way too fast. I really hope they'd keep him coz he was really great. So were Hermione and Ron.

Daniel (Harry) and Tom Felton (Malfoy) are the only one who definitley will be in PoA, it's been confirmed. I don't know about all the others though... I don't know why everyone is worried about them growing up too fast because they get a year older every book!

Well, If they're going to keep Harry and Malfoy then there'd be no point of replacing Hermione and Ron. That would be really provoking coz Rupert Grint and Emma Watson are really PERFECT in their roles.

The last issue of Film Review has some nice pics of CoS. It looks amazing. I did say that before, didn't I? http://www.joblo.com/ubb/wink.gif

I just saw the trailer for the first time today, before the screening of Pluto Nash, and I have to say I can't wait till Nov. It looks amazing. And the kids need to grow up, since they are a year older in each movie, and at this rate, it's perfect if they are churning one out each year

Does anyone know what the snake will look like in the chamber? Plus Alfonso Cuaron (Great Expectations,Y Tu Mama Tambien) is being sought after to direct PoA.

I am looking forward to this a lot, but my main hope right now (and I've got my fingers crossed) is that chamber and prisoner do well enough to justify Goblet of Fire cuz Goblet of Fire ruled...

I don't think that Goblet Of Fire is going to be the best. The book is great but it's too long and they won't be able to be as faithful to it as they did with Philosopher and apparently with (Chamber..). I guess that the one which'll rule is Prisoner Of Azkaban!! My goodness the ending is FANTASTIC. the whole book is full of surprises.
