Well, I am somewhat of a musical elitist as you might say. I wouldn't kill anybody but there are plenty of musicians, bands that I would beat severely. Some include:

Linkin Park
CREED!!!!!!!
Nickleback
Incubus
P.O.D.
Limp Bizkit

there are so many many more I could go on for a long time...but these are the ones I would like to beat the most.

There are quite a few that I would like to see disappear but not die. The reason I wouldn't want them dead is because they would just rise to more prominence in our stinkin' society.

First of all, I have to agree with whoever said they should just go away rather than be killed. They might drive me insane, but I wouldn't wish death upon anyone. Though I it was fun bugging my sister about Lance Bass dying in space..(shes absolutely in love with him, and listens to nothing but Nsnyc and Justin Timberlake...sigh, I've gotten used to it.)

Anyways, musicians I really dislike include:

Nsnyc/Justin Timberlake (see above)
Shawn Desman (don't know if you americans are exposed to this shite)
Missy Elliot (this is literally the anti-music, its actually painful to listen to some of her stuff)
Simple Plan (can't STAND that voice)
Kelly Osbourne (why can't SHE shut up)
Coldplay (way way overrated -- really don't like them)
Nelly (worst rapper out there, figures my sister likes him)
Ja Rule (ok, Nelly is not quite the worst)

There are definately more, but I can't think of em.

For anybody who said you would kill Britney, Avril, Tatu, Christina etc...something is wrong with you. Sure the music might not be good, but its worth keeping them around just for the eye candy. I mean you can always watch MTV/ MuchMusic with the volume down can't you? :) Actually Avril's music I don't even mind, and shes damn cute, and good height for a short guy like me...

Also, Eminem and nu-metal bands seem to be popular choices...well I say screw y'all! Haha. Just kidding, but I do like a lot of that stuff (Linkin Park, Korn, Disturbed etc). Oh and Nickelback is great. Being from Alberta its especially cool that they've done so well.

While the likes of Britney Spears,Avril Lavigne,TATU music may suck they are nice pieces of eye candy so I'd leave them alone,thats why with country music I only put the male artist cause while I hate country music that genre has some damn fine looking female artists.
