The Dummy
In short this is probably the worst film I have ever seen in my life. I always do my best to find
something good about every film I watch, and the only good thing about this is the main woman
gets naked in it.
The acting is terrible. The main guy who wrote, directed produced and stared in this film can’t
write, direct, produce or act to save his life so he may as well get back to building ships or
whatever it is he does for a real job (although I have a feeling he isn’t very good at anything.
The story goes a little like this. A ventriloquist’s dummy is alive and killing people for no real
reason. But Paul the ventriloquist is a bit of a psycho and thinks that maybe it’s him killing the
people. Who could it be?
Well it turns out it was the dummy all along. Sorry 2 spoil it for you kids but with the directors
complete lack of talent u don’t care at all you just want it to end.
Even though this is a killer dummy movie you never see the dummy actually kill anyone and the
most you see it move is when Paul is strangling it and its eyes and mouth move. How bet that
cost a lot to do.
There is very little gore just a few drops of blood here and there. For some weird reason the
DVD copy I saw it on was kind of zoomed it. Like for example some of the credits at the end
were off screen and constantly through the film the actors (if we can call them that) heads were
cut off the screen.
The very worst thing about this film has to be the camera work. Have they heard of tripods?
Every shot was wobbly and there were countless times where the camera took ages to pan to
something.
All in all a terrible film that should be avoided by everyone because if this guy makes enough
money to make another film I’m going to find out everyone that spent money on this film and
punch them. Erm I guess that means me as well.
