Just like we do the Box Office numbers every week in the Current Movie Forum, and there is an Australian singles chart in here, I thought this would be a good weekly thing to keep people in the loop on how their favorite artists are doing. I know some people don't like these charts (because they don't care how much everyone sells) but I thought we could try it anyway. For September 17-24th, the tops in the US and Canada are:

Isn't it great? She's a terrific singer, the song isn't incredibly good but her talent certainly shines through.

i think she's so funny and down to earth, i hope she doesn't get all hyped an stuff. she sold 232K copies on her first week. the best since celine dion's "my heart will go on"

Good to see Daniel Bedingfield doing well in the US, hopefully his next single James Dean (I Wanna Know) does well there too.
