There is some great news today for English Potter fans. It seems you can now go to your local cinema and buy advance tickets for the film over a month before CoS is released. You better get them now or the second year at Hogwarts might be sold out on 11/15/02. And if you think that date is to far away there are going to be some advance screenings in England on November 8th, 9th, 10th, and 14th much like they did with Sorcerer's Stone(or Philospher's Stone). Here is the original article from Empire Online.....

Potter Pandemonium
27/09/2002
It’s time to take up your wand, jump aboard your Nimbus 2000 and set off for Hogwarts. For if you trot, nay sprint, along to the nearest dream emporium that is your local cinema, you can bag yourself a ticket to the second year at the School of Witchcraft and Wizardry itself.
Tickets for Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets have officially gone on sale over a month before it is released simultaneously in Britain and America on November 15. Ringing up the highest advance box office sales last year, Harry and his friends are back in what promises to be a darker and funnier slice of magical life than the young wizard’s adventures with a certain philosopher’s stone last year.

And for those who can’t wait until 15 November to catch their first sight of Dobby or the flouncing fop Gilderoy Lockhart, Empire Online is happy to let slip that special preview screenings are happening around the country on 8, 9, 10 and 14 November. You’d just better peg it to your closest fleapit and book your seats before they’re all gone.

The film starring Daniel Radcliffe and Kenneth Branagh is already expected to be break box-office records such is the unbelievable interest in all things Harry and Hogwart.

"We have got a thousand seats for each screening over the preview nights and also for the first week which is pretty amazing really.

"The demand for the preview weekend has already been massive. It just seem to be building on the success of the books and also the success of the last film."

If fans want a sneak preview they will have to be quick.

The lucky few can don their wizard's hats and get down to advance shows at both the Picture House and Odeon on Friday, November 8, Saturday, November 9, Sunday, November 10, and Thursday, November 14.
