Oddly enough, my favorite part isn't listed. Mine is when the first letter from Hogwarts arives until Harry goes to the island with the Dursleys. I just love when all the letters come and the shit hits the fan, plus John William's brilliant score helps too...

I am sorry. I know there are a LOT of smaller scenes that are really good, but I figured I would go with the scenes with tons of effects because those ones stick out with some people as the scene the was fun or "cool". I also love the letters! Uncle Vernon's rant about "no bloody letters today, no sir!" was very funny. I just wished they had kept the Railview Hotel scene. When I saw the film it seemed a bit drastic that they went from suburbia to a house on a rock in the ocean.
P.S. Have you seen the deleted scenes? There is a wonderful moment from the book where Aunt Petunia goes to crack eggs and they are all filled with letters. It was a stitch!
Well, you should've added on more option: ALL OF THEM ;)
Anyways.. nice one.

Well, to be quite honest, the very beggining is my favorite part. Harry being left at the Dursleys and all. At that point, I thought the film was going to be great, but even though it didnt maintain the same "bookish" feel that the beggining did, I still enjoyed the film nonetheless. Good shit.
