come on now.. there's a stack of CD's in your collection that you hide from your hipster friends when they come over.. We all have those shamefull little ditties that are SOOO much fun to listen to, but embarassingly lame.
To Tell you the truth, its about half of my music collection....beyond the blues albums lies a Giant stack of Phil Spector pop..
The Dixie Cups.
the Chordettes
Dee Dee Sharp
the Shangri-las
the Blendells....
The Most bubblegummy of pop music makes me all giddy and starry eyed inside....worst of all are the pin up boys form the fifties and sixties....worst of all....my ridiculous crush on Ricky Nelson...!!!!

yeah, you heard me!!!
Elvis and Dion De Muci are close seconds, mind you... !!

Back in the late eighties I was a huge hair metal fan with Lita Ford and Dokken as the favorites. I still crank their respective cds to this day. Blueberry, Back to the Cave, Kiss Me Deadly were the rage. George Lynch's screaming guitar solo's highlight the Back for the Attack and Under Lock & Key albums.
I guess you could say I am a closet Ace of Base fan as well.

GREAT LIST!!!! I'm big into the Crests, The platters, the four tops and the fleetwoods too(although I cant find any fleetwoods on vinyl..:()!!!! do you like the Vogues?? They're one of my favorite bands ever.
I've never heard of the clovers....what was their hit??
and what's so wrong with the second list?? I dont know why ANYONE would be ashamed to put on Van Morrison's record with "them." That's a BADD ASS album!! I find ALOT of his solo stuff to be really BOOOOORRRRRING....
BVC...... I guess I'm embarrased aobut listening to his music because i dont listen to it for the the right reasons...At alll... like, I turn on honeycomb and I go totally fetal. its ridiculous.
Elvis, on the other hand is NOT something I'm embarrased to listen to..I love the guy
~~~~~ okay....you want embarrasing????
I like HELEN REDDY! yeah, helen-freakin reddy!!!
Tortured animal mutalations sounds is not something I like to front around everybody. Honestly, I think the only thing people my age would turn their nose to in my collection would be Frank Sinatra. Even though he's the greates romantic male vocalist of all time (in my opinion). I don't care who knows I have his CD's.
i guess it would be avril laignes songs, but they arent really that guilty of pleasures, i have no problem owning up to it.
Probably Craig David is the guilty-est pleasure. And recently a little (deep breath) Michael Jackson.
