Well I was just looking forward to more of a Kubrick edge. I mean I dug the movie until the mom ditched David. After that it went 110% Hollywood. Stupid voice cameos, bad dialogue, and may I also mention an ending that could have and should have ended like 30 mins before it did? Just kept on going and going and going. Bla. Overhyped and just not that great.

well i suppose i could see this? but i think that`s what the plot was about. the kid gets ditched and then he goes on an adventure to find the blue fairy. the ending was a little confusing most people think those creatures at the end of the movie are aliens when in fact they`re advanced robots.
remember when gigolo joe said- humans hate us because they know after they`re gone we`ll be the only one`s left.
after i figured out the ending i thought it was a clever movie but i think it would have been better if they took out the pinocchio story in the movie and replaced it with something else.
the funny thing is this movie is a BIG rip-off of pinocchio and they tell people that in the movie?
again, kind of funny but i still thought it was a good movie!

Memento
Chinatown
Blade Runner
The Manchurian Canidate
Young Frankenstein
Good films, but I didn't see the greatness everyone else was preaching about.

Monkeybone. That movie had a kick-ass storyline and it could have been in the Top 10 of 2001. It should have been.

What a great movie.

Goldmember (I really wanted to like this, i like the other two a lot but this was just horrible, all the same jokes, none of the enthusiasm)

I have to agree with SAI-Goldmember was a complete let down for me-The first two was great but it felt like they forgot to make a working storyline in the third one-I had had such high hopes for it
Moulon Rouge was another-I had heard such good things about it but when I rented it, just could not get into it and turned it off after 20 minutes
MIB II
Goldmember
Sum Of All Fears
Vanilla Sky
Chocolat
The Matrix
Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon

I love MOULIN ROUGE, but I still find the first twenty minutes tough to watch. I gave serious thought to walking out when I saw it. But then came Diamonds Are A Girls Best Friend and the Elephant Love Medly. I implore you; rent this film again and stick it out this time, your opinion may change

Signs -Ok, this movie was cool. It was good. and it was well made. However this, like Unbreakable, just seemed like a huge build up to a climax that never actually occurred. Both of em move along at the pace of a quadriplegic senior citizen. Both of em get off on their own style. And both of em just let me down. What can i say besides what I've said?
A.I. Also a good movie. but like i explained above...
Ballistic A horrible load of short memory shit. The action is shit. The acting is shit. The plot is shit squared. And the title is shit. It absolutely sucked. Let me down big time.
Armageddon note: filming a near 2 hour movie with the pace of a music video on speed laced crack is a bad idea. It was falsely dramatic, and logistically insane. I was expecting better from the director of my (at that time) favorite movie; The Rock. Oh if only I knew the evil that is Bay.
Planet of the apes -2001 This movie has a horribly misacted lead, direction that hardly lived up to the name burton, and so many fucking plot holes it's mind boggling. Flaws. That's all I can say. The dialogue? Flawed. People, and apes gave monologue to explain plot points and the history of the planet. They would not just up and say these things for no reason. The plot? Flawed. Why would the apes speak English? Or any language? And why were there many species of monkeys on the planet? I thought there were only apes on the space station. The space station itself was extremely advance for the year 2023. And why did they launch the monkey anyway? What was its purpose? Why would the apes be in such high power if the humans could do everything the apes could? The apes wouldn't even cross a shallow pond. And need I even mention the ending?
LOTR Over blown and hard to give a shit about. My pals built it up way to much.
Dante's Peak The trailer glorified that huge volcanic cloud that chased them in the car. Made it look like that was half the movie. It took up about 32 seconds of the film. It's ok but I was lead on to believe it would be better.
Get Carter note: Do not use a high energy techno song and a quick montage of the only action in a movie to put together a trailer.....for a movie that is slow, and boring.
The English Patient The most pretentiously ridiculous attempt at meaningful film I have ever and will ever experience. This was artsy, frothy, boring, and just plain mind numbing. I not once cared at all for any of the one note characters in this self glorifying load of shit. It won the Oscar I do believe. And it shouldn't of.
Shakespeare in Love Answer me this: HOW THE FUCK can a "froth" infested load of garbage like this take the Oscar from one of the greatest war films of all time?! I felt nothing during this movie. Not fear, doubt, happiness, sadness, or excitement for anything within it.
Crouching Tiger:...Shakespeare in love, with kung-fu.
does that explain my position well enough?
