If you look at my fave movie, you know what I picked. Or you could just add 2 and 2 and see that so far I'm the only other person who has voted.

it's a tough call for me between Die Hard 10/10 and Terminator 2 9/10. die hard is a better overall film, but the action in T2 kicks major ass(better than Matrix imho). it's a tie!:)

Blade II is in my opinion the best straight action movie I have ever seen.

Went for T2, but it was hard to choose that over Die Hard, T1 and The Road Warrior. I think I preferred the story in Mad Max to TRW, but TRW's action was cool.

Not too hard to guess what I picked... :D

I have to go with Terminator 2: Judgment Day because it's one of my favorite movies of all time. Rambo: First Blood Part 2, Terminator, and Die Hard follow close behind.

I went with TERMINATOR but I could've gone with DIE HARD or ROAD WARRIOR just as easily!

Hard Boiled is so breath taking. The Killer is the best action-adventure film I have ever seen.

What's the deal with The Killer???? This movie sucked SO bad.
Anyway, my vote went to T2, because the poll is for "Most Kickass", which T2 certainly is. The BEST of these (though I haven't seen Road Warrior or Better Tommorrow movies, or Nikita) goes to T1. A better movie than T2 because it doesn't have a little kid in it who's voice cracks every time he speaks. (His voice STILL DOES, I should add. What the hell's wrong with Eddie?)
Hard-Boiled. By a mile.
The first action scene alone places it head and shoulders above all other action movies.

Hard Boiled?
The Killer?
A Better Tomorrow?
A Better Tomorrow 2?
La Femme Nikita?
The Road Warrior?
I'm still somewhat puzzled all of these films got on this list before the Rock (10/10), Predator (10/10), Die Hard: With a Vengeance (10/10), Aliens (10/10), Faceoff (9/10), Blade (9/10), or even Blade II (8/10). I submit a vote for Terminator 2, though the poll is lacking with quality choices.

Did you ever see Hard Boiled or The Killer? If haven't, you should. If you have, well, then I can't please everybody. I didn't really like The Rock, Predator and Aliens weren't as cool as The Terminator, and Blade and Blade 2 weren't around long enough for me to put them on. And I'm sorry I forgot Lethal Weapon, it slipped my mind.

As far as "Most kickass" the Woo film's should always rank high. BEST movies is a different story, though A Better Tomorrow is my favorite movie. Just remember, this is most kickass, not BEST film.

I would say THE KILLER from that list, but there are alot of action films that are dumb, but are good in terms of straight up action. Ive also not seen the Better Tommorow movies, only a clip that was in True Romance

Had to go with Die Hard on this one, even though T2 is good I really find myself watching Die Hard more.

"only a clip that was in True Romance"
I can't remember which clip they showed - it was the one where Ti Lung uses a samurai sword right? I liked that, a pretty obvious reference to Ti Lung's one armed swordsmen movies.
Oh yeah, that clip is from A Better Tomorrow 2. If you ever try to see them, consider A Better Tomorrow 2 to be a sequel in name only to A Better Tomorrow. While it literally follows it in plotline, the whole tone is like a comic book and much less believable then A Better Tomorrow (which is very believable for the majority of the film, disregarding - as usual for Woo - the gunfights). It's also extremely depressing and cruel to its characters. So I just think of the sequel as a seperate movie, because the first one is better as a standalone.
Oh yeah, A Better Tomorrow 2 gets my vote for Best Action Sequence of Any Kind EVER.

Die Hard... no doubt. The action is off the heazy. Look at my profile, quot is from Die Hard.
When he runs across the glass I cringe every time... I know, not real, etc... the thought. THE THOUGHT.

T-2 gets my vote from this list, though I would definitely choose Drive (1997) with Mark Dacascos were it on the list. You will likely remember Dacascos as Mani the ass kicking indian in Brotherhood of the Wolf, another good action/political intrigue/thriller.

Drive is amazing - it has the best kung fu sequences I have seen in an American film. Unsuprisingly, it is choreographed by a guy from Hong Kong... I definetly reccomend it, and if you have the capability, I suggest getting the PAL DVD which has quite good features. I've been meaning to get it for a while, but haven't. Lucky me, I have an Apex region free with PAL/NTSC.
