What would you say is Scorsese's best besides the ones with De Niro? My choice is After Hours.

I went with The Last Temptation of Christ. A superb and deeply moving film.
If you want to get a handle on what happens in Mean Streets, especially what makes the Keitel character tick, it's good to see Who's That Knocking at my Door?
Martin works an awful lot with DeNiro, but the characters in his films that reflect him most closely are the two guys (arguably two manifestation of the same guy, Scorsese himself) that Harvey plays in those two films.

After Hours is my favorite... but it would be like in 6th 7th if we included the ones with De Niro.

I'm gonna go with the Color of Money, though I did really enjoy The Age of Innocence....never seen After Hours.

UPDATE: If asked now I would say Gangs of New York, with Bringing Out the Dead a close second. The top three overall are still Taxi Driver, Goodfellas, and Raging Bull.

The Cage and Scorsese joint.... Bringing out the Dead. I would have voted Gangs of New York, but that fine film is absent from the poll.
