It looks like Swedish actor Stellan Skarsgard is going to have himself quite busy. According to Comingsoon.net, not only has Skarsgard replaced Liam Neeson as young Father Merrin on EXORCIST: DOMINION (with filming to start in November), he's also a candidate to play Doctor Octopus in SPIDER-MAN 2. But it hasn't been decided who will play Doc Ock yet, and if Stellan signs on, it would probably depend on how long DOMINION filming takes.
Still, one must think...Stellan would make a pretty good Otto Octavius, wouldn't you think?
