Since being a kid, it always has and always will be "The Neverending Story", followed by "The Princess Bride", "Merlin", and "Return to Oz". Great list of choices danny.

Oh, god. I love The Princess Bride, so that got my vote. Willy Wonka was great, too.

I'd say the Wizard of Oz is the greatest and most enduring movie on this list, and it'll probably stay that way for a while to come...as for my favorite, probably the Princess Bride. If you're wondering what you might have left off the list, some people would probably want to choose Legend, though I personally didn't care for it.

Legend! I knew there was something I was forgetting. Oh well I've never seen it, but it probably would get some votes.

i voted for LOTR, but i love pretty much all of these. if not the outstanding lotr, i probably would have picked neverending story, return to oz, or the witches.

yeah a few classics are missing on that list like-

excalibur
a midsummer nights dream
labyrinth
legend
clash of the titans


i really liked AMSND and Excalibur ALOT!! but from the ones on that list i would have to say it`s close between willow and willie wonka, i voted for willie wonka...

come on people we got to have more votes for this category!!!

I'd like to put in a word for The Princess Bride, but my vote goes to LOTR, as that is my 4th favorite film, while PB is my 7th.

Dude, technically you are forgetting Star Wars. With the Jedi element its not really sci-fiction.

willy wonka is one of my all time favorite movies. it is fefinetely the best film on the list.

I voted for the dark crystal, because I was thinking back to my child hood days when I was little watching that and the neverending story, the neverending story didn't get my vote for the horrible sequals it had, and as moviejunkie said where is labyrinth?....that would of got my vote
