One question...how are we supposed to vote for performances we haven't even seen (i.e. Leonardo Dicaprio)???

Robin for sure... mind you, Tom Hanks hasn't won in a while
Although, I'd like to darkhorse Bill Paxton for Frailty (and add Matthew McWannabe for Supporting)

I didn't see it but I was thinking Paxton had the supporting role and McConoughey had the lead. whatever.

If you think hes a good actor and might be your favorite, then don't vote until you know for sure. (or do. doesn't matter to me)

So far, Hugh Grant's performance In About A Boy is my favourite

It's just practically impossible to vote for Jack Nicholson, Kevin Spacey, Leo DiCaprio, or Elijah Wood because the films haven't been released yet, so I voted for Robin Williams.

Mel Gibson in Signs? Come on, his performance in We Were Soldiers even blows that away.
I vote for Al Pacino in Insomnia.

Yea, I pretty much agree with the others, it's impossible to say who we think should win when about half of the choices haven't even been released yet.

I would like to see Nicholson win his fourth Oscar. Since most people have yet to see About Schmidt we will have to wait two months to see what happens with that. So far though I would have to vote for Pacino in Insomnia.

Hmmm....
It's very hard to vote for performances in films that havent even been released yet.
However I voted for Robin Williams.....he's given the best male acting performance of the year thus far for his very effective and creepy performance!
Mel Gibson was pretty darn awesome to though!
