Hey, I'm first to vote! I voted for The Empire Strikes Back, which is my #2 movie of all-time. The greatest movie in the greatest movie trilogy.

This one was a lot tougher than the 90's poll. Back To the Future is definetely the best, but Blade Runner, Aliens, Jedi, Empire, and 2010 are all really good too.

Empire Strikes Back is IMHO the greatest sci-fi film of the 80's.

The answer is Blade Runner...but why isn't The Abyss on this list?

No Abyss? Okay, but why no Terminator?

As it is my vote goes to Brazil.

Brazil? Blade Runner? the Fly?

Honestly, how can you not put Predator (10/10) on this poll? It definitely was an instant classic imo- spawning a sequel. Btw, I voted for Cameron's Aliens (10/10).

The 80's was the best decade for the SCI-FI genre and the best of the bunch is ALIENS, followed by BLADE RUNNER and then SPACEBALLS. PREDATOR can be on the list and I love it too, but it is more action IMO.
