According to the new total film Snake Plisskin will be returning to the cinema but not in Escape From Earth but rather in an AniMatrix style anime cross-over, scheduled for 2004 with a Comic tie in being previewed at the next San Diego Comic-Con (Mike Sampson can I have your copy?!)

Russell, Carpenter and Hill are all involved, but I don't know on what level, whether just as producers, or as scriptwriters or indeed if Kurt is voicing.

Let's hope for Kurt to voice his character. And James, yes that's exactly what I'm telling you.

What kind of animation will it be? Todd Mcfarlane, Anime or other?

Thanks, OB. http://www.joblo.com/ubb/smile.gif But do you know what'll be the story of the film, and why they go for anime instead of live action?

chances are since films take a long time to make, they take a sizeable amount of scheduling away, while doing the voice takes less time since shooting takes months while VO work only takes a few days

And plus Kurt anymore says he's too old to be doing action movies, so it's likely this will go through instead of a live-action film.

No idea of what the story is, it was just a tiny little aside in the mag.
