what movie literally made u scared? or creeped the shit out of u?

for me its FIRE IN THE SKY (based on a true story about alien abduction, its a shame it isnt on DVD yet) than BLAIR WITCH PROJECT (when i saw it i thought it was real, soo naturally it was pretty freaky)!

SIGNS came the closest. I didn't get to sleep till 6 in the morning after seeing it.

As for movies that aren't on the list, THE OTHERS made me jump into the projection booth on a couple occasions.

I voted for Blair Witch Project, but the movie that probably scared the most crap out of me was EVENT HORIZON.

I voted for Halloween because it's my favorite horror movie, but Signs and The Blair Witch Project were both very creepy as well...

Tales From The Hood. Especially the story about the corupt cops and the dead minister. Glitter, The Blair Witch Project, What Lies Beneath...those were pretty funny though.

I didn't vote.

My vote WOULD go to The Thing, however. (Remake, of course.) I wasn't scared shitless, but I was scared.

Also, I haven't seen these yet, but I think Fire in the Sky and Communion would scare me shitless.

(Fine, I voted for Signs, but you should always put an "other" option, Pudge. Great avatar though.)

For this poll, Fire in the Sky get's my vote for the whole needle coming at your eye-alien experimenting stuff.

When I was young, I hated to watch Charlie and the Chocolate Factory because every time Augustus Gloop got sucked up the chocolate pipe I would freak out and cry because I thought it was so horrifying. My asshole brothers used to not let me leave the room and would laugh at me.

Nightmare on Elm St is the all-time most scary movie I have ever seen. Doesn't seem so scary today, but the 1st time I saw it, the lights were on in my bedroom all night for about 6 months. NO exaggeration there folks.

Honorable mention: The Serpent and the Rainbow

I'd say Suspiria, but because it's not there, Blair Witch.

OMFG  , when i was younger- i rented 'Fire In the Sky' thinking it was just some normal flick *again i was young* and ended up watching it alone, in the dark.... OMG i was freaked out of my mind. Had nightmares about being dragged by aliens. Ever since then whenever i'm out in the woods late at night, it always reminds me of Fire in the sky.

Am I the only one who was scared shitless by The Excorcist. I saw the new version with the extra footage 2 years ago in the theatre and it scared the hell out of me. I saw the old version a long time ago and I found it boring but when i saw this version with the flashes of demons and most important I couldn't keep my eyes open in theatre when the spider walk seen happened.(The director should have left that part in the original) I was so scared that for a month I was always terrified that something was coming down my stairs.

p.s. a few good ones also sixth sense
nightmare on elm street
texas chainsaw massacre
