okay, I was up to my nose in comlaints last time, lets see if I do any better this time with mostly new directors on the list and there's still that OTHER option there as our returning champion.

I voted for other becuase even though I couldn't post Zhang Yimou this time, he's still my fav. On this list though, I'd have to say Stephen Speilburg, closely followed by Martin Scorsese. By the way, PDL stands for Punch, Drunk, Love. I mentioned that because it'll be coming out soon and a lot of people on this MB are looking foward to it.

See that's the problem, you can list the greatest directors, or you can list the newest ones....seldom the twain shall meet. I suppose we all have to adapt our critera to accommodate a juvenile audience.

PTA doesn't even deserve to be on this list. He's done nothing remarkable.
Boogie Nights was great, (8/10). But Magnolia was just pretentious and boring, (5/10).
