Review:

School's over and 12 friends from the International High School in Prague disappear to the four corners of the earth, they intend to throw the best party of their lives. The idea to stage the party in Prague's biggest swimming pool is illegal but cool. And when Gregor(Thorsten Grasshoff), the leader of the group thinks an idea is good, then no one else from the group objects. But what begins as the night of all nights quickly turns into a life and death struggle, as the friends come to realize that death itself is on the guest list. A mysterious masked killer sets a hunt in motion that ranges through the facility's halls and corridors. As the kids panic it begins to dawn on them that the killer must be one of them...

Ever since I read a positive review for this flick I couldn't wait to see it. So the movie just got released to video and dvd so I rented it not expecting to much of it because I knew it was very unoriginal. Yeah lets call it a "Scream" rip-off because everytime a new "teen slasher" gets released, people always have to compare it to "Scream" like if scream was the only slasher in the world and that is just getting old. ( So, my expectations of me enjoying the film turn out great because I like the movie, the suspense and the deaths were pretty cool and bloody. The first ten mnutes is an obvious "Scream" rip-off because it includes a phone, boyfriend getting killed and the chick being stalked around the house!

The killer wears kind of a skull mask with a tight black jumpsuit and some really nice pair of boots, he actually looked really sexy to me. Oh his weapon is a big shiny machete, he must be a fan of Jason Voorhees or cousin. ;D But the killer makes a good use of the machete he was violent a killing machine, cheers 4 the killer! I was surprised how the movie kept me in suspense especially the stalk sequences "the one that takes place in the air vent was so stylish and unique". So if you are a real "slasher buff" like me you better see this flick or else...

Bodycount: 11

Scary Score: 1.5/5

Acting:
Kristen Miller(Sarah) is a fine good lookin young actress and she did just fine in the film and just to let u know she also appears in a few scenes in "Cherry Falls". Thorsten Grasshoff(Greg) he is just this handsome guy that gets everyones attention.

Gore: A killer with a machete for a weapon= machete stabbings, slit throats,a girl split in two and many more cool deaths that u have to see 4 yourselve.

T!ts and @ss:
Everyone will be happy! Kriten Miller appears in her sexy swimsuite and all the girls appear in swimsuits. We also get a t!t shot and we see a lot of shirtless boys! What more can u ask 4?:D

Afterall: I am happy with the film because it was a lot better than I expected. Is a really good slasher and is not even cheesy and is really one of the best that I have seen during this year of 2002. So go with an opened mind and get this flick is worth to watch and if you are a fan of slasher go ahead! :D

The Pool- 4/10

Rated R for some gore, brief Nudity, and language.

Some unique and fun sequences can't save this tired trash. The acting was awful and there were way to many boring sequences.
The killer was extremely weak and the gore was mostly just blood.

Gore- 5/10
Impalings, slit throat and lots of blood.

Nudity- 2/10
One breast shot.

You don't have to, that's just my opinion. I did enjoy certain moments but the flick felt extremely boring on many occasions. I also felt the gore wasn't exactly shown properly, all the extreme deaths were just off camera so we couldn't see the impact (like the slide death).

I thought it was a pretty good movie but i could never really warm upto it because the horrible accents in the movie really threw me off and at times it seemed that the vocies didn't go with the mouth movements.

I think I'm going to give this one another try, maybe a second viewing will warm me up to the movie. The lack of much gore and nudity is what bothered me the most though. What can you do?

After the horrible FINAL STAB, I decided to give this movie another try. I hated it the first time, so I wasn't sure if I was gojng to like it or not.

And I'm happy to say that I enjoyed it a lot, it was more clever than most slasher movie, the deaths were pretty cool and bloody, the acting was really good for this kind of movie and the soundtrack was great.
