Official DIE ANOTHER DAY full trailer

Just checking to see what you guys thought, thats if you saw it. It screened on that awfully loud, self promotional, shit talker ENTERTAINMENT TONIGHT (I sat through a wad of Amerikan Idol bullshit to get to it).

It was quite thrilling, the ice palace and subsequential car chases look fucking stunning.

Two minor problems were with the plain awful innuendos...

And then there were some fairly naff looking fight scenes, in particular one with Bond seemingly fist fighting through lasers.

This outing for Bond boasts the most CGI (about 200x more than any previous film in the cannon), am I the only one just slightly unhappy with this? I think Bond has always been reliable through some form of gritiness, and although GOLDFINGER and the films thereon love their gloss, do we need computers to produce it?

Thoughts gentleman and the ladies, please?

Generally, I liked the trailer. The action seemed cool as hell, which is just what you'd expect from Bond. My problem with it was just the dialogue, that you mentioned. I think the villain in the trailer used the line "There's plenty of time to sleep when you're dead". That's incredibly stupid, and I even remember hearing that exact same line in another (very bad) film. Also, the innuendos were rather clumsy, but I just let 'em slide, since it's Bond after all. Hopefully the dialogue in the film will not be as bad as the trailer promised.

(Actually, I don't even remember him saying it in the movie, I just remember it on the trailer...)

I thought the D.A.D. second teaser was pretty cool, but this almost made me puke...

I think the trailer looks awesome, I can’t wait to see this movie. As far as all the CGI, it does not bother me as long as it looks good. CGI is just another of the many special effects out there that if done right it can look amazing, and if done half-assed it can look like shit. And from the trailer I didn’t see anything that looked bad.

No, I wasn't referring to Insomnia (haven't seen it yet). But this kind of proves that the line isn't anywhere near fresh...I couldn't remember the title for the film at that point, but it was some straight to video "payback" flick, that was indeed very bad.
