oh dear lord that is scary, the plushies were so cute (and very naughty) but this is full-out freaky, thats not to say i dont like it though. Are those drawings? Kinda look like 'em. Over at www.avary.com, (http://www.avary.com,) the director just announced that ROA just got an "R" rating from the MPAA, thats AFTER submitting it FOUR previous times and getting an NC-17, the film had to keep being edited. Cant wait for Oct. 11!

I hate this poster. I'm so disappointed, especially after the genius of the last one. Still, the film looks like it's going to be great!
I like it but I thought the teaser was a lot better. The official poster is very creative and original yet after seeing the GREAT teaser poster I just can't appreciate this one quite as much.
Teaser Poster: A+

I thought the final poster couldn't live up to the teaser...now I feel like an idiot for thinking that.
I don't quite follow what's happening in this poster.
I think it's pretty crap. The paintings of the faces really don't look too great (cheap if you ask me) and it's just generally confusing.

it's a good poster, but I wish that plushies poster goes up for sale at some point. It'd make a great wall poster http://www.joblo.com/ubb/smile.gif

is it me, or is this movie seeming to be this year's Requiem for a Dream?

No it's not just you http://www.joblo.com/ubb/smile.gif.Now that you mention it this film will probably be so.But I think this film might be slightly better then Requiem.
The poster most certainly is not as good as the original. This one is going for the mind-fuck kind of thing.I would expect better, but I guess it can pass.
Original(Plushie Toys): A+
Offical=C+ or B-

i dont think its going to reach the dramatic level that requiem for a dream reached.
the rules of attraction will be good, however having read the book at least 20 times, its definitely not going toward the direction requiem for a dream went. this is going to be funnier, and more poignant, focusing on the death of romance. http://www.joblo.com/ubb/wink.gif

This is by far the coolest and funniest poster I have ever seen and I cannot except anything else from this movie but that. I Know you all agree with me right!!!

It's been TOO DAMN LONG since I saw a drawn poster.

You saw the poster for Episode 2, right? Oh well, I'm sure you mean a GOOD drawn poster anyway.
I like the official poster better. It shows us some characters, shows that they're fucked up and that there must be some sort of ATTRACTION between them. The teaser poster is funny but doesn't say anything about the film, except that maybe it's a dark comedy.
Teaser - B+
Official - A-
The teaser poster is, however, a lot easier on the eyes. The official one is quite creepy.

I'm not talking about what type of dramatic impact it will have, or the atmosphere, but I was comparing the history of their censor fights. The big deal the MPAA had w/ ROA was of how casual all the sex was, and the casualness of drug use in RFAD was (one of the many objections anyways)

Blech, the new poster sucks. What could possibly beat beanie babies fucking?!
And by the way, does anyone notice that this new poster seems to look like faces in the shape of a Swastika? Not very pleasant.

That ain't no Swastika. Look again. Van Der Beek's pictures are going the wrong way for that.

I know it's not exact, but it is the first thing I noticed when I saw the poster. Besides that, everyone's face looks totally freaky and cartoonish. The other poster was loads better.

To be honest, I like the new poster A LOT better then the original teaser poster. The teaser poster was incredibly stupid and immature, I can't see why everyone liked the original so much.

I heard there are hidden penises in this new version.
Happy hunting.

Eh, it's not that great, IMO. I liked the first version a hell of a lot better.

Is it just me or does Shannyn Sossamon look like a cross between Michael Jackson and Liza Minelli in the new poster?
