Is Scary Movie 3 Still In The Works?

I do not like the premise of this one. Scream and all those other stupid teen films were fair game, but this one spoofs LOTR, HP, and Star Wars. Those three films had a lot of love and care in them and do not deserve to be spoofed by the Wayans Brothers.

P.S. And Anna Faris will not be in this one, I heard. She was the best actor in them.

I'm looking forward to it and they are smart to spoof the Harry Potter, Lord Of The Rings, and Star Wars films. If they spoof those movies Scary Movie 3 will likely be a bigger Box Office hit than the second one was. The only problem is I'm not a big fan of any of those movies and I prefer it when they spoof movies I love and am more familar with. But oh well, if they want a hit then they should definitely go with this idea. Hopefully it will get made soon. I love spoofs.

The thing is that none of the films listed are "scary movies", so it'd make no sense to call it one in the series. If they wanna make a spoof of fantasy/sci-fi stuff, why not call it something like Fantasy Movie? Well, probably because that sounds incredibly dumb but I think you know what I mean...

Just want to argue over the title thing

We all know those are not scary movies but it isnt like they are gonna call it "fantasy movie" or "sci fi movie" because it is part of a series and they probably would have thought of a better title if they knew the series would be so successfull.

The title was set to be something like "Scary Movie 3: Lord Of The Brooms" or some shit like that. Granted I did like the first movie but the second was crap but do they REALLY need another sequel?

The full title is Scary Movie 3: Episode One, Lord of the Brooms.

Possibly the worst title ever attached to a film, and possibly the worst idea for a film in a while...

i think most people are pissed off because the movies they are teasing. I hate those fantasy, magical fairy land of the pixies movies anyway.

I have not ssen harry potter, and do not plan to.

I have not seen lord of the rings, and do not plan to in the near future, and wont be seeing the two towers when in theaters unless i see the first and am surprised.

I have only seen two starwars films, didnt like either.

The first was extremely funny, the second was pretty funny but they were in a rush and i think they knew it so they are gonna plan this one better.

I will see it though.

I just want to tell you why i didnt see lotr, this is what i got told about it. "Its about some faggot that has a magical ring that makes him rule the world or some shit like that and all these other stupid people want it" Was i told wrong because to me that sounds like a hunk of shit mixed with dirt.

Anyway im off topic, go scary movie 3, all i want is laughs.

I know I've previously voiced my opposition for a SM3, but part of the reason SM2 didn't turn out well was because it was made in a hurry. They're giving SM3 more time so maybe it will be an improvement?
